So there is preseason tackling, and preseason getting off blocks and preseason cushions and these will all be fixed for September 10th right? Wheeeew. I was scared for a minute there. Can't wait to see regular season Jarvis Jones. Preseason Jarvis Jones looks like ****.
 
You guys are starting to sound like Coach and his logic. Preseason tackling, preseason pass coverage, hell even preseason pass rush. I know, I know, we're saving it. I'm with Sask though about Uncle Jarvis. Even preseason Uncle Jarvis sucks. I wonder if we're watching preseason coaching too.
 
league wide there seems to be shift in attitudes towards the preseason. More of lets just get through it without exposing our playbook or players to injury.

Exactly. Why because players make too much money to be loss in a meaningless game. The cost is too high. Work on some things play the young guys and try to avoid injuries

Where did you get that? I've seen starters playing into the 3rd Qtr. Hell it happened in the Buffalo game. Also who has said they are worried about exposing their playbook?

As for the preseason, look, what I didn't like about the game Sat. is they didn't even compete defensively. I don't give a **** if they win, just compete. Play hard. Did anyone see that and I am missing something?

As it pertains to Jarvis Jones, for **** sake, when the QB is getting rid of the ball as quickly as the Bills QBs were, because they was not competing from the DBs, how he **** do you get a pass rush? Some of you guys get to dislike a guy, and there is no damn logic once that is established.

I highlighted what YOU said: That all three backups THREW touchdown passes. That was clearly WRONG, as only one of the three did so. And I could lead the Bills to a touchdown against this putrid Steelers defense, so who gives a ****?

I guess Vick had absolutely no feel for the pocket when he found Bryant after moving well to his left. You have no ******* clue what you're talking about, chief.

I use facts, stats, my opinion and 3rd party opinions.

Tomlin is good enough to win with Cowher's players even though his teams have a bad habit of loosing 3-4X a year to teams with losing records.

If the Steelers do not win a playoff game, it will be 5 years with no wins in the playoffs, and a few of not even making it

Does this sound like a coach and GM you would offer an extension to?

There were signed to 2016. Let the season play out. Do not reward mediocrity!
 
It will be 5 yrs when the playoffs start his year. If they don't win one this year it will be 6 before they can break the streak

I agree that he isn't going anywhere. This season is on him and all the players he drafted. This very well could be his first losing season and it may not stop after this year.
