We all know Ryan Shazier is fast.

But faster than Antonio Brown? Markus Wheaton? Sammie Coates?

The Pittsburgh Steelers tested that theory out today. And the answer is yes, Shazier is faster than any of them.

Brown, with Vince Williams as your cameraman, posted a video on his Snapchat of the 40 yard dash. And it appears that Shazier was the victor.

Add Brown to check it out (ab84official is his account), but I grabbed the best screenshot I could. Not easy when those guys are moving that fast.

That’s Shazier on the right, neck and neck with the others. He’d pull away by a step by the end. Keep in mind he’s about 20 pounds heavier than Coates and more than 30 pounds heavier than Brown or Wheaton.

Williams chimed in with his thoughts.

After today, you can say with confidence that that’s a fact.

If you’re curious, the 40 times they all ran. We’ll take the fastest one, Combine or Pro Day.

Ryan Shazier: 4.38
Sammie Coates: 4.43
Markus Wheaton: 4.45
Antonio Brown: 4.48

Sounds like the combine/pro day does a pretty decent job of measuring speed.

Remember that when we start talking about the 2017 draft....

That is pretty impressive. Sad that Martavis Bryant could've possibly beat him or at least come in second.

I hope the Madden creators/developers/engineers see this and bump Shaz up to the fastest LB in the game. I wonder if Smokehouse Bryant is faster???

Also there is another video which prompted this race where Shazier say the only guys faster then himself was Burns and Bey. Hmmm Burns fast some of the guys not going to like that.

Harry..Burns is not athletic. Case closed

A 4.46 at 190+ isn't bad at all.

But 4.38 at 230+ (238 I think) is mind blowing athletic.

If Shazier can stay healthy, he could be the Troy Polamalu of ILBs.

He started to flash some last season. He could end up being very special.

Vince Williams says the Big Man race is tomorrow. That will be one to look forward to. Tuitt has to be the favorite.

bad part is that he pulled a hammy. now he's questionable for the opener

he didn't actually

Where is Darrius Heyward Bay when it comes to this race.....He can't catch very well but his speed is faster than Brown, Coates and Bryant.

With all due respect to Ryan Shazier, he doesn't even come close to having the instincts that Troy had. No amount of speed can make up for the space between them in that category.

Just fast enough to get wide open and drop the ball.

He held on to a few last season. But I swear he drops 50% that are right in his hands.

You must not have watched the 2 and half min youtube game clip that some have. Burns is a flat out bust. His head looks at bit large also.

Nice to have speed at his position. But damn stay healthy. Shazier can be stellar for us

wtf do you even bother commenting?

If you're not going to address the assertion, why do you bother to comment at all?

It's this kind of post that scums up the board, not my posts. I am on topic. You, and the mud crew, always have to go to off topic crap; grow up.
