not ashamed to admit that this young man's injury has been stressful for me. I sure as hell hope he can at least walk and play with his kids, and have at the very least, a normal life free from pain and especially disability.

If he's re-habbing, he's moving stuff. That's a start. And by God, we'll take a start.

Doesn't say that

No details on Shazier's long-term prognosis or the specific nature of his injury have been announced.

Prayer first then a lot of baby steps along the way to resounding health. Nothin like the power of GOD !!!!!!!

Salute the nation

Great news. God Bless Ryan.

It's been 1 week since the surgery, so the soft tissue has healed. Most of his swelling should be under control. It might be a long road, but he's not afraid to work hard.

#SHALIEVE!!

Not sure what it means with that injury but I know with any surgery I’ve had they want to get you rehabilitating quickly and don’t want you to sit for too long. Hopefully he can make a full recovery and is able to walk and be some what normal again!

The more I read about this the more it sounds like there is a high chance he is fine ... and even if he is able and allowed to return to football, I hope he thinks long and hard about retiring anyhow... his style is just too scary

Call me crazy but I have a feeling Shazier will try to get back into football.

If it was me I'd retire from it especially after an injury like that but I just think he will attempt a comeback!

Needing rehab means his injury is worse than we all hoped. It means he can't walk out of the hospital and probably won't this week although I am still holding out hope. Still praying for a full recovery. SHALIEVE
