As we obviously aren’t addressing the backfield in the draft, I would love to see the Steelers give a look to Shady McCoy. He and Conner could split feature carries and Snell and Whyte could be used when needed...

I love Shady, great locker room guy. Would be better than Fournette IMHO. Is he a FA?
 
I with Claypool being chosen and no RB in the 3rd taken- I am guessing they are going to bring in a rental free agent RB. I would be ok with Shady Mac. I’m not seeing Fortunette trade happening.
 
i think they will the tcu big back, rather get a dt there or SS muse or Hudson and sign shady or wait and force the jags to get desperate to unload fournette
 
Shady is a much better threat out of the backfield than Fournette. Either would be a huge upgrade imo tho.

I don't think that is a "stat". Bell could have been considered "SAFTY valve dumps" if that is how you want to look at it. Fournett's 6.9 yards average per catch will keep the chains moving.

McCoy 2019 ............... 28 catches average 6.5yrd per. I guess he was just a satay valve as well...........

EDIT: Fournette is the 6.9 yrd per not Bell

2nd EDIT: 2019 BELL 66 rec average 7.0 per

Bell is a great receiving back who can run WR routes. Fournette is a guy who can run 5 yards, turn around and catch the ball if throw to him. No comparison
 
Staying with younger RBs corp is becoming more the norm in the NFL. After drafting McFarlane I don't see a point to adding another body to the room unless you have JC go down to a season ending injury
