Seriously, how are the Patriots going to stop the Steeler's offense

When they don't work it was Haley calling them. when they do ...well it was Ben. It's how I look at it ....Seriously though. After moving the ball in the no huddle at will it seemed against the Ravens in the first half do you think Ben called run run pass to start the third?

It's possible he thought he saw something that wasn't there. The Ravens could have adjusted at the half and tricked Ben into thinking the run was there when it wasn't. Who knows?

What I do know is Haley is not dumb. Again; this is his offense. An offense that stretches the field while using the tight ends and the backs catching.

Something we almost nevet saw with Arians, regardless of personnel.

Anybody that thanks Brady wont shred this defense is kidding themselves.

We need TDs not FGs.

TDs not FGs

Remember that[/QUOTE
That’s the problem with playing this team. Brady shreds the Steelers defense, they put up a lot of points early, and consequently the Steelers offense has to play from behind, which anyone that has ever played competitive sports knows, completely ***** you up mentally. Combine that with the fact that with a significant lead, the Patriots defense is able to play loose and confident. Football is such an adrenaline fueled sport where momentum means everything. Look no further than last year’s Super Bowl. How can a team be kicking the **** out of another team for 3 and a half quarters and then in an instant completely **** the bed. As soon as Atlanta went into “uh-oh” mode, the adrenaline pumps shut off and they looked like a completely different team that could barely get a first down.

This might be the case but all to many times we see our offense humming in a nice rhythm in the no huddle and then we all of the sudden switch back to the slow pace huddling up offense. Almost it seems to try to slow the game down and eat the clock. I would like us to try to keep the fast pace(no huddle) up for as long as we can. Keep the pressure on. Whether it's Ben or Haley I hope we attack a weakness they see. If it works keep exploiting it until they adjust. And when they do.... if they do....then go onto their next weakness. If they give us everything short. Take it until they try to stop it.

Haley and even Tomlin are the ones that determine if we are going to play the run, run, pass tempo/style of game that typically does not work. At least, it typically doesn't put enough points on the board to beat a team like the Cheatriots. He also determines if we go no huddle and hurry up style. That style is what has worked the best for us over the past few years and even more so when we went to it during this win streak and when we put a lot of points on the board. We are not going to keep the Cheatriots from scoring their points. We MUST outscore them. The run, run, pass style of game will not get us enough points. If we go that route, it is on the coaching, not Ben.

This is the way I see it. Ben and the O need to be efficient and score TD's every chance they get. And Bell has to have a big day.

We get his floundering first half of games offense that gets them behind in the first half like we have seen a lot this year, forget about it.

If we come out no huddle on Offense that will be a plus. And the first third and short we see on Defense I hope we don't see a 10 yard cushion. Two aspects of the game I'm waiting to see. This will tell a lot right there. The same old same old or something new.

Tackle well. Play tight more on 3rd down, rush him and hit him.Deception.Execute! And turn your radios off. Change signals at the half. I'd already have that in place so rainman in the box doesn't make those miracle halftime adjustments.

Brady has a 114.2 passer rating against the Steelers in the regular season though... LoL...

Defensively its all about pressuring Brady. We know the secondary will have more holes in it than a cheese grater so the dline has to beat the living hell out of Brady. For once, just one freaking time in my life before I die I would like to see a Steeler's D-line get after Brady.

No Branch today I just heard. Lev should rack up an easy 150 today.

that thread already exists troll.....hit the ***** in the mouth and he folds
A few years ago on a Ravens site this exact thing was brought up to a *'s troll and the next poster's reply was something like; "Bernard Pollard hit him in the knees and he folded too, just not how a human is meant too... lol.... "
and the Pasterisk troll lost it... im going to say it almost made me cry from laughing so hard...

Patsy troll have to be so sad knowing that not one fanbase respects their franchise and that sooner or later some player needing money is going to rat them out and the who era gets more tainted than it already is... and that when BB retires they will go back to nobodies...

To be honest, today's game is important but not that much. Our biggest thing we need to do is get a bye. Getting home field throughout would be icing on the cake. The true important game will be when we play the Cheatriots in the playoffs. This game is nowhere near a must win. It is a nice to have. If we lose, I will be upset but not that much. If we win, I will be happy but with the perspective that this truly is just another game. WE MUST BEAT THE CHEATRIOTS IN THE PLAYOFFS!

It depends on how they decide to defend. I agree with stillwright that you open with no huddle and jump on them early, but you have to give them some Lev Bell as well.

They are 30th against the run,but I'm more worried about their run game and our D. If they gash us early that helps Brady, and we need to get to him early while not letting them establish the run.

If we can't do that it all falls on the B's.

Yeah but i want to beat them twice so Brady really does know its time for him to quit...
The Pats win and lose one more and we win out and we still get the top seed...and the funny part is if the Pats win out, they likely are handing the Improved Ravens the six seed and facing them first...

Brady 20-3 at home in playoffs

Brady 3-4 on the road in playoffs

It's VERY important to win today.

Seems they're going to take out Brown.
