So this week there will be lots of talk about the players in this game, here is a link to get things started:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...draft-scouting-guide-for-the-2015-senior-bowl

I am very interested in watching this Rollins kid from Miami(ohio) I have read some stuff on here and they have talked about him on tv a little. Who else are people interested in, I have said before in other threads I am thinking Lippett is a nice fit if he don't climb to high. I also think Lockett has lots of potential but from what I read has shaky hands. These are just a few players I know Shelton is on a lot of guys list, mine too.

I sure want to watch Markus Golden DE from Missouri . I know Shane Ray is the kid getting all the glory @ Missouri but when Ray got hurt in the Citrus Bowl early in the first quarter all Golden did was have 2 sacks, 4TFL & 10 total tackles. The kid is an absolute stud and he will be one of the top LB'ers to go after in the NFL Draft. Watch this kids draft stock soar in the months ahead.

Nice will keep an eye on him, pass rusher....is that something we need????? lol!

I will be recording the practices. I can comment later. I do think this draft does just average overall in terms of talent.

I am not a draft expert or a big college football follower but towards the end of the season with all the bowls I watch and read up on guys. I will agree at 1st look this draft is shallow(especially compared to last years draft) in talent but let's see how the next few weeks go and as we look more into these players maybe we can find some players that surprise.

Ok I feel like a complete moron asking this after I looked at the roster but......I noticed that several players had the listed position of DC. What the **** position is DC? I would guess maybe Defensive Corner? If so, why wouldn't it be either CB or DB like any other time?

thinking it is a defensive corner...... perhaps just another way of saying it?

but looking at the rosters, this Senior Bowl might be worth watching.

Those are guys not very good at playing the sport, but who look to be good defensive coordinators ("DC") in the future.

You're welcome.

Anyone have a list of players the Steelers are interviewing/meeting with this week?

Any watch the game? Who impressed? I DVRd the game but haven't watched it yet?

The RB's impressed. The Qb's sucked for the most part and the kickers missed their share. WR's were tough to judge.

Who looked good? Shelton, Orcahrd, Abdullah, and Collins.

Two small school players stood out. FB Varga from Yale. Can run. block, and catch. Very agile too. TE Nick Boyle. A house of a blocker, who can catch the football well. Was compared to Heath Miller.

Coach I read that Kou from Bama looked real good, I remember there being a lot of talk on him last year before he decided to go back for another year. Also another guy who I read impressed was a guy talked about here a bit and that was Rollins CB from Miami(ohio). Here is what I read on the game just one site haven't watched it yet so I have no opinion but would like to hear yours:

DC is Defensive Corner. That is generally how it is noted in scouting circles. My guess is it's either a more old school notation that stuck or it's to avoid confusion with so many positions ending in B. Probably a combination of both.

The QBs were terrible and it brought the whole game down. A QB should be able to dominate these all star games because the defense is usually only allowed 2 different coverages. Brett Hundley made a mistake by not going.

He could have positioned himself as the clear #3 QB and possibly the #2. No doubt a few teams will remove Winston from the board for off field issues and some may see Mariotta as a gimmick QB. Hundley had a ton to gain.

I like the Minnesota RB Cobb. I doubt he will put up big numbers at the combine but he's a great inside runner. Minnesota is very run heavy so he didn't do much receiving or pass blocking. Because of that he'll probably be available in Rd 3.

The Big Ten was loaded with RB this year. Langford of Mich State, Gordon at Wisconsin, Cobb at Minnesota and Coleman at Indiana. I bet few realize Coleman rushed for 2000 yards this year. If he runs under 4.5, Coleman could be a guy who shoots up draft boards

Tape, I agree about Hundley not sure why he or the people around him couldn't see with a good game he could have shot up like you say. That being said I keep reading that there is a very good shot the Eagles trade up to #2 for MM and if they can't are very excited about Hundley....not sure how much of that is a smoke screen.
Also wouldn't it kinda be funny if in the 3rd - 4th round we end up with Langford....another Mich St RB? I think it would be a nice fit for both he and Bell but hey that's a long time away still time for him to climb with a good combine.

Hundley by not playing actually had his stock go up! Some team will take a chance on him in round two or three. The 2015 QB draft is the weakest I have seen in years for NFL prospects. Winston is a walking red flag and very turnover prone. Mariotta is good, but he will need to go the right offense. Mariotta's accuracy when he has to hit a guy on the move ( Not throw it to a predetermined spot ) is just okay.

This draft has an old school feel of quality running backs. There are some pass rushers too. The DB's as a group are weak.

I think it's a good year for us to snag a RB somewhere in rounds 4-7. There is a lot of quality depth, kind of like how we were able to snag Bryant in R4 last year. I like Cobb too. Mike Davis of South Carolina has really lost some luster, but he would be a nice pick if he ends up getting pushed to round 5 or 6.

I hope the team is drafting the best players available and does a better job of picking guys that match what is being put forth on the field. I suspect we will be rebuilding for a bit now since so many of our guys do not look like they are measuring up so far. My meaning is they do not look like they were an upgrade over the aging vet ahead of them, in years past the younger guys looked like they were able to beat the older guy for a position, not so much now.
