Play is being called dirty. Cowboys flagged for blindside hit. Maybe I am the one who is blind because it looks to me like they are running right at each other.

What say you?

I don't see any reason to call the play dirty - both players faced each other - one took the hit - the other delivered it...tough to watch; but, I find no fault in it...

Blindside? I was watching the game and it looked to me like they were running right at each other.

Hardly a dirty play IMO.

more interested to see what Mitchell's fine will be.

Not a blindside hit, but it was helmet to helmet. That's why he was knocked out.

The bigger guy won the collision, as simple as that.

torn ligaments in his neck - requires surgery.

Didn't look dirty. Looked intense and painful. Made me cringe, but physics won the day on that play. Not cheap football.

Wasn't a dirty hit, but it was solid. I learned a long long time ago if the other guy lowers his head to not try and reciprocate -- ends bad for 1 and sometimes both players.

Definitely not a dirty hit, but Lockette didn't see him coming until the last second. Not much else you can do there, the guy is playing the game.

If you're on ST's punt or kick off coverage, on either side of the ball. Be aware of where you are and keep your head on a swivel.

Physical? yes. Dirty? no.

Clean hit, from the front (blindside my ***), no intent to harm. I call that good football.

That being said, new Special Teams rule for 2016 will be that all players that are about to hit another player on kickoffs & punts must declare so to that person so that said person is aware a hit is coming. Neck injury == the NFL lawyers are squirming right now. Pussification will continue.
