A significant part of the reason why Williams has four sacks is that the coverage in the secondary, including Davis, is very good and forcing QB's to hold the ball.

One's over paid, the other not very good.

Our safeties are not good. I wish we had one who could play cover three well, or make more plays on the ball. With solid corners and a good pass rush, our safeties should be making more impactful plays. We only see some every now and then. Outside of TE, this is the weakest until on the team, wouldn't you agree?

I would agree Free Safety is the weakest spot on the D, not the Strong safety. I consider that position a strength. What you're arguing, I'm just not seeing.

And how many times has he ripped footballs from a players hand in the end zone, thwarting a teams scoring chance? Especially on 4th down. That's as good as an interception, and something that doesn't show up on a stat sheet.

You also have to remember he is still developing. Young career he can still grow.............
