Planning on hitting up Arrowhead again for the KC game. A bunch of us Wichitans will be attending, me being the lone Steeler fan. Gonna be awesome!!! Plus it's 2 days before my birthday, so even better!!!

One of the positives for me is I won't have to fork over the cash for the ticket again this season.

Both Stains games, all the prime times (boo), and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Pat* and Chefs will be national which should make for 10 televised in my market.

Negative is all the prime times will really cut into the games I watch with our group of Steeler friends because we have to get up and work in the morning.

On the flip side of that though is at least the early season games where we can get together the weather should still be nice which makes for great tailgating and debauchery.

I like the optimism, although realistically getting a win on Dec 17th is asking for a miracle.

They are a beatable team. What concerns me is that we see them in December and then we will see them in January. Most teams do not succeed in that 2nd game of the season against NE.

Yeah beatable, but if you look at past performances Tomlin is 2-5 against them. They really improved in the off season while we really didn't. The only way I see us realistically beating them is if Martavis Bryant is back, which is starting to get somewhat frustrating and us having a great draft. This last season it was nice to see rookies get a chance to play so hopefully we have a great draft.

There is an easy solution to your concern. Go the Giants route: lose the regular season game and win the playoff game.

The best news? No west coast games. We just don't play well out there.

I always see 19-0 before the season. Maybe Art,Dan and Chuck can lobby the big guy upstairs for a little perfection.

I love being good and having a huge following, but I hate games that aren't Sunday at 1:00 pm. The string of prime time games at the end of the season is ridiculous.

Yeah, the NFL always finds a way to screw the fans.

Way too many crappy teams on the schedule, grrrr

We play 2 contenders, a handful of middle of the road teams and a whole bunch of tomato cans....UGH!

This could be one of those white knuckle 11-5 rides where we are all scratching our heads wondering why we're not 14-2 with some home field advantage in the playoffs.

Agree 100%. The schedule on paper is pretty easy looking. Even if you assume a conservative 4-2 in our division. The tough road games, KC and Indy, are actually teams we've recently done well against. And the tough home games, NE and GB, are in possible favorable weather conditions, late in the season, where injuries could be a factor (and maybe help us). Like previously stated, there are no west coast games and not a lot of travel overall (Pittsburgh to the great lakes area is not a hard flight).

I kind of fell the same way as last year. This is a potential 12-4 season if the team exceeds expectations even a little bit and almost certainly 11-5. Anything less than that would be a pretty big let down considering how few seasons we likely have with Roethlisberger. This is not the type of schedule to flounder around before the bye week like last season getting our sea legs. We need to be 100% ready and not throw away easy games in September and October like we have recently. If you are depending on home wins against GB, Baltimore and NE and road games at Cincy and Houston to "turn your season around", that might be a tough task (although I'm sure that's just how Tomlin and Co. are going to do it).
