Schedule for the 2nd half of the season

Carolina Panthers (short week)
AT Jacksonville Jaguars
AT Denver Broncos
Los Angeles Chargers
AT Oakland Raiders
New England Patriots
AT New Orleans Saints
Cincinnati Bengals

This sharpens the sword so to speak, a competitive schedule.

Saints Panthers and NE being the biggest challenges IMO.

If thy can go 2 and 1 here they will set themselves up in good position.

I am thinking

11-4-1 as a final tally.

Although 10-5 and 1 seems a little more realistic.

What I think happens they win a crappy division with a 10-5-1 then do their annual stink bomb in the playoffs and be done no later than 2nd round. It’s who they are under Cool Shades.

this season will be different, 10-5-1 barely winning the division and then surprising the whole world beating the **** out of anyone and getting #7

Here is the thing... this team under Tomlin loses focus... its not a secret every time we come up to a cupcake schedule or soft easy win type game we struggle and sometimes lose... we have a pretty bad record on paper in those scenarios... but with our backs up against the wall we play focused and good football....

Id rather have a brutal schedule that the team cannot have letdowns than a gimme schedule that they take lightly

Im not kidding that the game I dread the most is the Oakland game... it on paper ought to be a blowout laugher but will likely turn out as the raiders signature win this season

don't sleep on the chargers. they are playing very well

They always seem to suck in the cold here. I don't fear them in Pittsburgh, in December.

Agree with some above, one game at a time, schedule is definitely tough - If I had to say I like 10-5-1 win the North host 1st round playoff game and then on to NE or KC

I worry about Oakland. Cant seem to ever win there. We have a brutal schedule, but last time we had the toughest schedule in the NFL we were throwing a parade downtahn.

Well its really tough, so im guessing we will lose to the cheats cause thats what Tomlin teams do... and lose to the Raiders, cause they are the only cupcake left and again, that is what Tomlin teams do ... lol
We have all been watching Tomlin long enough to know that all the talent on the field means nothing come playoffs, the defense will fold to a journeyman QB, and that will be it.

Play like *** every time we go to Oakland, I'm not marking that W yet!!!!

What's everyone thinking our final record will be coming out of that?

The Panthers, Saints and Chargers are looking spectacular at the moment and will be very tough games. (1-2)
@ Jax, @ Den, Pats and Cinci are winnable but no cakewalk (2-2)
@ Raiders - we all know how we love to play down to scrub teams (1-0)

Puts us 9-6-1. Is that enough to win the division? Or are you guys more positive about how we'll do down the stretch?

Hmm. Right on track sadly despite being the better team in both of the last two games. :dispirited:
