To replace Moore, Hell Yea! If he has grown up and know his role, I'd certainly look into this. Colbert could name his price, maybe.

His price would be league minimum. The grown up part is where the deal gets a little fishy.

Hated him since day one and can't wait until he's sweeping floors for me
 
How many times has he been suspended for drugs? Is his next one going to be a season long suspension? He was very talented as a pass catcher when here, at this point he might be a good possession receiver. I think he needs an incentive laden deal with penalty clauses in it regarding being cut for behavior and or discipline or drug issues. Burris came back, Adams was given a second chance, maybe with the right deal this guy gets a second chance.

Limas didn't take himself out of a game from punt return because the Miami kicker was kicking the ball to far. Lina's didn't have the entire team throw his *** off the field because the entire team couldn't stand his attitude. santonio is a piece of **** and real life will hit him hard

That's what I was thinking. He would come cheap and be a good slot receiver with vet experience. Unlike Moore, he wants to be here, so why not? I'd think he knows he messes up once, his locker would be cleared out before he could say, "whacky weed".
 
Sounds like a guy who knows he out of chances in the NFL.
 
Id do it.........he had wonderful chemistry with Ben when he was here. Antonio, Santonio, Markus and Martavis
 
Does he play CB? Can he rush the passer at OLB? Has he quit hitting the bong?

Since day one? OK, I don't get all the hate for Santonio. He was gold for us and without him we don't win Super Bowl 53. After that he went downhill.
 
I have no hate for him at all. He helped us win super bowl 43 and for that he is in the all time cool book for me,but we're pretty stacked at wr and we need defense BAD! I do wonder how his health is and what he would play for though?
 
ask yourself this who would you rather have as the 4th WR DHB who can't catch or Holmes who can catch and run block.

with who is out there Holmes would be likely be the best fit for ous from this crop him or D.Moore

The problem with Holmes is he's an ******* and a locker room cancer. I can't see the Steelers taking him back. It'd be one thing if they let him walk during free agency like they did with say Randle El or Plax, but they kicked his *** out of town cause he was a trouble making *******.
