Played two offensive snaps, Sunday. Is relegated to running one deep route per game and gunner on punt coverage. Talk about a meltdown.

Eli Rogers 4 catches on 5 targets
Cobi Hamilton had 1 on 1.

Brown and Bell had 28 targeted passes. 18&10

That needs to change.

the guy has definitly regressed

Gotta catch the ball. Guessing his route running is an issue as well. The guy had so much promise in camp and really flashed as a deep threat early on.

I think confidence has become an issue with him as far as catching the ball.

Can't win games every week when you are one dimensional. Shut down AB and you kill the Steelers offense. It's that simple. Line has sucked so no holes for Bell. Hopefully it changes vs the shitstains.

that hand of his is not 100%. don't care what the Steelers say.

Since his injury, what 5 weeks ago, he has done absolutely nothing. Not sure if he even has a catch in the last 3 or 4 games. Very disappointing. He's not getting open at all and Ben isn't throwing to him anymore. Hamilton is looking to be the better play right now.

Eli Rogers is awesome.......... !!!!!!!!

Salute the nation

He has a broken bone in his hand. Breaks don't magically heal in 2 weeks. He won't be healed until December.

I believe it's 2 broken bones and 17 stiches. But the real critics never let that get in their way.

Next man up as he does not seem full go with the hand injury. If he was already struggling to catch well why completely destroy his confidence and Ben's confidence in him while he is recovering from the hand injury? Rogers is doing well and Hamilton is flashing some talent, so why not see just what we have with these 2 until Coates is fully recovered. This seems to be the proper move under the current situation.

Ben hit him on what should've been a TD that would've put us within 7 with plenty of time left in Baltimore

Wheaton is going to see a specialist as he had a setback with his shoulder. My guess is he is done for the year.

Bro he hurt his hand Oct 9. He hasn't missed any practice since the week leading up to Miami.. the dude just sucks right now.

Ben also overthrew him in that Baltimore game too..who knows might of dropped it anyway. And to be fair he should of drawn a PI in Sunday's game.

This is odd as Wheaton had built himself up and is in his contract year. I said I'd trade him for a 3rd round pick. Many people laughed.

I would still be laughing, you have a huge question mark surrounding Bryant and you want to trade one of the few experienced WR we have on the roster.

No idea what you're talking about.. you were spouting off about trading Wheaton AFTER the trade deadline.

No one is trading for a WR with a messed up shoulder. Wheaton reinjured himself and is seeking the opinion of a specialist.

You're right, he hasn't been playing well. Though I believe it's because he's trying to play hurt. He had bad hand positioning before the injury, now he's trying to catch a ball while not injuring himself further. It's a lose lose.

Oh, and if Wheaton is being reevaluated, he will probably require surgery.

Wheaton is toast...should have been seeing a specialist weeks ago
