Saints Ball 4th QTR 4th & 2..........play......

After watching the replay of it....you can see Tuitt's right arm grazes the ball and you can see it change as the ball rotation changes.....that is physics and it's obvious that Tuitt did contact that football. Also that was Pass Interference on Haden anyway. Another NFL game decided by poor NFL Officiating! Players and coaches need to start calling out these referee's instead of saying....officiating didn't effect the outcome of the game. In today's game it certainly effected the outcome of this game! Saints were gifted 2 TD's today.

Also why didn't the call come down from upstairs to look at that play to make sure the ball wasn't tipped? They can say "Flow of the Game" blah, blah, blah....but they stopped the game when Ben & AB converted a 4th & 15 for a first down. Why on the Steelers and not the Saints? Both plays inside of 2 minutes.....I just don't understand that!

Want to know the difference between Harbaugh and Tomlin? On the tipped pass Harbaugh would've been doing backflips on the sideline until the refs reviewed it and got it right. Tomlin instead just stands there and says nothing. Same on the Saints catch and fumble, crickets chirping on the Steelers sideline.

I wanted the Steelers to win as much as anyone here, but I can't get too upset over the borderline calls. There is no chance that the play was going to get reviewed and called a fumble. I'm not convinced it was a reception. The same thing on the tipped pass. The ref is not going to reverse that penalty based on the replay they had of that pass. No conclusive evidence it was tipped. The early pass interference call was the one disaster by the officials and one that contributed to the loss in the biggest way.

On the tipped pass the ball went from a perfect spiral out of Brees's hand to taking a wobbly nosedive. Only the hand deflection would cause that.

It had a little wobble to begin with, it never hit his arm. Seriously, how is this still being discussed??

Heyward did NOT touch the football

The thing is that Heyward never said anything about it. Most of the time the player will start signaling that it hit his arm. Heyward does nothing. So I assume he didn't think it did.

Maybe because it was Tuitt not Heyward. Tuitt signaled tip, but like I said there was nothing definitive in the view I saw.
