Safety Morgan Burnett Gets 3-Year Deal

I dont think the ILB sacks, necessarily, relied on "scheme" so much as the talent on the field. VW was able to get to the QB because of Shazier's talent. I havent looked, but I'm thinking his sacks dropped off quite a bit after Shaz's injury. Probably, his TFL, too.

Watt and Dupree had 7 and 6 sacks, respectively,

Other teams play ****** teams, too.

Let's take away 5 sacks because we played Cleveland, That makes us 2nd in the league. Let's also take away half of VW and Hilton's so we can get rid of "scheme"....that is 6 more. Now we have 45 and are 4th in the league....

for those that call it scheme, all I have to say is that some other player or two were doubled to free up VW and Hilton. That means that the doubled players are rather dangerous and must be accounted for

LOL. Fake news.
we didnt sign anyone. we don't have a dime.
right, 21?

Well maybe the Steelers are planning to withdraw the offer form Me'Von:waving: and we just don't know it yet?

With 14.5 Million open, we could sign 3 players of this caliber, than pick a back in round two who will average better than 4.0 yards a carry.

If he has 1 PD or 1 INT he is already better than Mitchell.

With our pass rush, Burnett should be more productive. Mitchell was a zero out there.

I agree. We could easily sign 3 players of Joe's caliber, than pick a back in round two.
that's an extreme example, though. i mean, who out there is of Joe's caliber at RB? Toussaint? We already got him.
PRO BOWL, baby!

LOL...Never will happen no matter how many times you say it but keep at it.

when Me'Von ends his holdout, and signs his franchise contract, we should IR his ***.

Teams fear/respect Heyward.

Beyond him, someone else needs to step up. Watt, Dupree and Tuitt have all showed potential, but need to show the consistency.

The lack of pressure on Bortles was a big reason why they lost to the Jaguars.

It was more the points our offense gave them

I too am tired of Bell's bullshit. I would like to see him moved as well because of the money it would free up and the help it could give to the defense. The reality is this. The Steelers have committed $14.5 million to have Bell play for the upcoming season. He's not going anywhere. Let it go.
