Great, we need big Dan back in the middle, Cam Thomas gets pushed aside like a paper weight.

Can use them both, a little more balance to the "D". Happy returns with NO stubbing thy toe affect.

Salute the nation

Let me know when Ben is back practicing.

Welcome back Big Dan. And Shazier, please stay healthy

Lets hope Shazier can stay on the field now. Big Dan has got to start dominating when he gets his opportunities.

Hopefully Joe Green's pep talk inspires McCullers

Shazier is out Monday night.

Is he made of China?

is Big Dan going to Dress, we need him to take all of CamT reps, both him and lt need to play, hopefully we see some 4-3 looks to make sure gates doesn't kill us even at the state he is at, I would like to see ocassionly tonite

a formation of LE mclendon NG heyward DT Tuitt RE dupree LOLB Timmons MLB Williams ROLB Moats.

Woo-hoo, Martavis is back! Alright Marty, lets get out there and burn these fools...er, um....lets get out there and smoke the competition..er ah...um....

Just dominate the Chargers!

welp, so much for this hoky post of mine.

I'm sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but...

We get healthy, we're a top 5 team or better.

1) Shazier gets back, McCullers takes over the NT spot and becomes the beast he should.

2) Ben and Pouncy come back 100%, both are Pro Bowlers

3) Bryant comes back, and gives us a 4 headed MONSTER at WR.

If these three things happen, and it's not a big "if" in my opinion, We contend for a ring THIS YEAR.

I like your sentiment, but you could not be more wrong about McCullers. He still has a long way to go and isn't half the player that Steve McLendon is right now.

All the clamoring for a true NT is not going to change the reality of the NEW defensive scheme. McCullers won't make a big difference,

IMO. McLendon only played 13 snaps of a potential 75. Of those, only 2 came in our traditional set with 3 down linemen. All the rest came as a replacement for Heyward or Tuitt in the 2-down linemen formation. (5 plays in the first half with one being a false start on the offense and 2 with 3 down-linemen, 8 plays in the second half as a replacement for Tuitt or Heyward).

Tomlin and Butler have both said they want us to be able to pressure with only 4 rushers. THIS is the new scheme. Whether those 4 are the 2 down linemen PLUS the 2 OLBs or some other variation of LBs, CBs or Safeties is the combination that keeps the offense guessing. IMO, the days of the 3 down linemen with a true NT are done.

But it can change from week to week. Against the 49ers, we played plenty of traditional 3-4 defense. The Chargers have not been using a "traditional" running game at all. Their rushing yards (and they've been terrible this year) have come from draw plays out of the shotgun. They've basically been operating out of the spread all season.

I thought it was a stinger at the time. Still do. After he didn't play vs Baltimore I thought it might be separated shoulder.

Stingers once you get them,, come back more easily. They weaken your whole arm. Im thinkin maybe they are waiting till the inflammation goes down before putting him back in ( my own speculation)

Pouncey is a pro-bowler at what exactly? Sorting out the intricacies of Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverages?
