I like him. I liked him as a player and I like him as a commentator.

He seems to be one of the brighter, more insightful in the NFL-covering media.

On Ben, he said, "Ben is one of the toughest guys I know. He is tough, but he just likes telling you about his injuries, giving you every detail. He tells you details that he doesn't even really know. He just likes talking about his injuries."

That was funny, and spot on.

When Ben is old, he's gonna be that guy that tells you about his bunions and everything else.

Clark is good on ESPN. He was priming for that role while playing for the Steelers. His Ryan Clark show in Pittsburgh a few years ago helped him prepare. I like it that he gives you a good perspective of what's going on the field as he's not too far removed from playing.

I've learned not to listen to Ben about his injuries. Besides the idea that players shouldn't get into specifics, how many times have we heard him and his HC contradict each other with injury reports?

Clark is one of my favorite Steelers. For his hits alone. And he tells it like it is. Harrison is the other guy i'd buy a beer for if i ever ran into. Love those guys. Great Steelers!

He also said that Tomlin's first training camp was the toughest ones he has been a part of.

He also said he would bet his ESPN salary that Ben will play.

Sounds like a good plan. Keep'em guessing.........

Clark is one of the few ex-players who don't sound like Neanderthals who never graduated grade school. The morons on the NFL channel on Sirius xm are the worst.

Ya, Shannon Sharpe is the worst. I can't even stand to listen to his garble.
