Ryan Clark calls it a career.

In honor of Clark, I feel this is appropriate. One of my all-time favorite hits and I got to see it in person.

Rog disapproves of this video...u will receive your fine in the mail shortly

Played with Sean Taylor and Troy. 2 HOFers IMHO, who he helped give them the freedom they needed to be playmakers.

Time catches up with all of us. Thanks for the service, and I'm surprised and humbled that he chose to retire a Steeler.

Black and Gold forever Mr Clark!

about 3 years or so ago, a guy i went to school (jason) with was in the hospital having a brain tumor removed. this guy and i weren't close - hardly talked, if ever - but were friends on facebook. while he was being prepped for an exam, he had a skully headwrap on his hospital bed. it had a steelers logo on it. long story short, i looked on twitter and contacted ryan clark and told him a steelers fan was in the hospital to have a brain tumor removed. i asked if he could find a minute or two to call him to wish him well.

he called jason. immediately.

jason's wife sent me an im that it was one of the most surprising things that had ever happened to him. ryan led jason in prayer and helped pick his spirits up. hell, could you imagine? waiting for surgery for a brain tumor removal, the phone rings and it's ryan ******* clark?

while he was a hard hitting dude on the field, ryan was a completely generous man off it. and one of my favorites.

He may have started a skin and ended a skin but those 8 years between he was a true Steeler..thanks for everything RC

That's freaking awesome! One of the things I really like about Clark is that he seemed to truly understand what being a Steeler was all about. Not just the way you play, though that's a HUGE part of it...but the way you carry yourself. Being a Steeler is about representing an entire nation... He gets it...

I loved Clark, one of my favorite players of all time...dude was funny as hell too...

Solid player. We got his best years. Good luck to Clark, and keep up the good work calling Goodell out.

Thanks for the great years Ryan!

I am hopeful that your broadcast career will see you tell it like it is; that you will not be bent into a network toady like most of the rest.....

I am hopeful that the Steelers FO might have some room for you after your TV career.

One of the best competitors the league; he gave his all everytime he stepped on the field. Thanks for the memories.

Started a Skin, but his heart was in the 'Burgh....glad he decided to retire a Steeler.

Ryan Clark ranks right up there with Rocky Bleier and Hines Ward as the epitome of "Steeler Type Players" in my book. Look forward to seeing him on ESPN.

Sometimes his mouth got the better of him, and the press here hated him, which probably makes him one hell of a guy in my book... I appreciate his play here for the majority of his career.
