Rumors out there IF Vrabel steps down

It’s not first on the list, but it is the most important question on the list………

He has to sign a disclosure before proceeding with the last 1/3 of interview (not every interviewer gets this far)

What is your experience with “Safe-Cracking”.?? (Goddell didn’t actually destroy the tapes, he merely “lost” the only known combination written on a slightly pink colored post-it note.

Are your willing to “own” massage parlors in both Miami & Boston??

Do you have any morality??

I wish Shane luck in his life’s work.

You think those tapes still exist? I dunno the way they like to cover up sheet I am sure those tapes have long been destroyed.

I do wonder if someone got a chance to make a copy but even that would have TMZ surfaced by now I am sure…

I don’t think the originals exist.

Possible copies or a portion of copies may exist, but are irrelevant in today’s NFL.

The most recent tapes of the Billicheat era would be those taken of the Bungles.

I think there is illegal taping going on, but not proven or caught, more than just the cheatriots.

Ethics aside (which is not a trivial matter), he publicly disgraced his relationship with his family. He was frigging stupid beyond words, spending an immense amount of time away from his family during the upcoming season isn’t going to help matters.

This prompted me to look something up. I had an unfounded hunch that around a fourth of all divorces are initiated because of infidelity. According to GoogleAI, that statistic is between twenty and forty percent. Interestingly, they make distinctions between infidelity as being the last of a number of reasons or the metaphorical “straw that breaks the camels back” and a single cause “dealbreaker.” Take this with a grain of salt. I’m not particularly interested in the subject. So, I didn’t do any deep dive into sources or how they obtained that statistic or conclusion.

Agreed. That's too precious a feather in his cap to risk losing

I agree. That being said, I could see him coaching in college after a HOF induction. “His legacy” would be secure. It would be a playing with house money scenario. I believe his reputation, earned or unearned, and his salesmanship skills could serve him well on the recruiting trail. At that point, all he’d have to do is subvert his ego, hire coordinators and the best position coaches to augment his managerial style. At the least, he could keep the gravy train running for another half decade. The idea is something similar to what Belichick is attempting to do at UNC. Think big ticket school, I could see Stanford, UCLA, Maryland or UVA as landing spots.

Yikes, Ernie and the guys on NBA pregame just showed a cartoon picture of the Celtics on a boat going fishing. The captain of the boat was Vrable holding Russini.
