Ruh roh clowns close their facility due to Covid.

Fn said it after last weeks game, don’t even travel to Clev.

So if there are more positive tests this weekend they could:
A. Do nothing....
B. Move the game to Sunday night...See if it even matters playing it
C. Move the game to Monday... let teams have unlimited ps call ups
D. Force the Browns to forfeit
E. Ask the Steelers to forfeit thus putting tge browns in
F. Cancel the game altogether... in effect its a tie... if the bills lose tgey are tge 3rd seed and if all the teams fighting for the 5-7 seed win the Browns are out...
G cancel tge game and add an 8 seed

H. Find the most optimal way to **** the Steelers over.

If the game can't be played safely on Sunday, it must be forfeited/canceled. Even if they make it a tie, there is no way to move the game even a day with the playoffs the following Saturday.

Like we used to say in street racing....run what you brung.

Yep. It's not my problem either if your **** won't hook. I would not under any circumstance let them move another game on us. All you really need is to make sure the players are still getting paid if we just say forfeit or bring who you can. You need 22 guys. Sorry about your luck, but the show must go on.

It is time for a Steelers bubble. Pick a hotel, lock it down.

It was just closed to track the close contacts. I'm sure the positive player and close contacts (all who will be ineligible to play this week, willl come out by tomorrow.

My biggest concern would be having any of our players potentially exposed to or contract Covid from the Browns on Sunday. Talk about throwing a monkey wrench in the playoffs.

Whatever they are calling Cleveland Stadium now is also a Browns facility. It sure would be to the Browns advantage to half *** COVID clean the Steelers locker room and next week, when we could be possibly playing the Browns again, we are the ones dealing with an outbreak.

I say move the game to a neutral site or just go ahead and forfeit.

****'em

Despite peoples fears, viruses really don’t stay active on a surface for more than a day, usually just a couple hours... they can detect them on some surfaces for two or three days under optimal conditions but even the hardiest viruses aren’t usually transmittable past maybe 9 to 10 hours out... the only way a Steelers player is catching it from their facility is nill unless they have someone infected go in right before they do and lick everything lol

Which is exactly what Harbaugh would do.

If Harbaugh hired a gimp to lick everything in a Cleveland stadium i feel like karma would kneecap him ... like when coughlin screwed with his stadium grass to slow down Sanders and lost Brunell to it instead.... lol

It could become a compromise if this gets bad. Amend practice squad rules for the game to get it played. Problem with "playing our practice squad" is current rules state that a spot on the regular roster must be created for a practice squad player to play. I'm pretty sure when they release TJ Watt he might find a few interested teams.

Easily fixed, for example, Matthew Wright, you are now our left outside linebacker, be sure to attend the meetings this week.

That's true for most viruses, but the coronaviruses are extraordinarily hardy. You're talking 7-10 days on certain hard surfaces.

Things that can kill it and drop it to hours, minutes: cleaners, UV light, Sunlight.

If more Browns players show up positive tomorrow, this game will probably be put in jeopardy. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen and hopefully the game gets played no matter what.

That is patently not true... its detectable but not transferrable... the last official study i read had it detectable on stainless steel for up to three days butvthe cdc states tgat much like tge flu, which can last over two days on stainless, its not viable after nine or so hours...

All of this were done in dark moist environments that maximize viral load lifespan....

The virus does not last weeks and remain viable unless frozen like any other virus...
in October a study was done that tried to claim the virus lasted 28 days on surfaces... this study was done in pitch black conditions devoid of uv rays and at a cold moist climate that was sealed with no air flow and with no interaction Or movement at all... even then when you read the thing it was just detecting dormant viruses... they could not replicate them in lung tissue... it was bunk... this coronavirus isn’t going to drastically deviate from other cornavirus activity that much... trust me, there is zero chance that locker room has anything living in it by Sunday

awwwwwww sheeeeeeeyut, everyone pull yer hyperventilating paper bags back out, the Rog is comin' fer our beloved Steelers!

Interested in who those players are. With the Steelers sitting 4 perhaps it evens the playing field a little more. I don't see them moving the game ...but let's see if there is more Covid clowns between now and Sunday.
