I wouldn't be surprised if they move the game til Tuesday then if we win they'll have us play on Saturday afternoon. If we lose and play the Browns again, they'll have us play the following Monday.

That would be such a Rog thing to do.

but given last week's forcing the Clowns to play with a huge part of their team out, who can say. It would be rough on the Clowns to force them to play 2 short-handed games in 2 weeks, even though one can surmise it may be their fault.

On the other hand... Guys dancin' without masks much? Seems everyone has a bit of culpability in the new 'Rona world we live in.

I almost assure you what is going to happen is we are going to have to play them on like tuesday then play them again on Saturday

Actually the league could totally use this as an excuse to add an eightthnplayoff team and forfeit this weeks games vs them... though that royally ***** kc

the Rog would be so very pleased.

Major outbreaks... yeah... the ****, the Rats, now the Browns... the Browns have like 9 players on the covid list right now...

Fortunately, I think most of the Browns are just close contact situations but still.

If they try to move the game we forfeit. Meaningless game. Probably a loss anyhow as they have nothing to play for and resting guys. Send the message. **** with us three times and we will delegitimatize your playoffs.

Like we used to say in street racing....run what you brung.

with the playoffs starting the following week, thier is almost zero chance they move the game from Sunday.

My biggest concern would be having any of our players potentially exposed to or contract Covid from the Browns on Sunday. Talk about throwing a monkey wrench in the playoffs.

The Deuce needs to get out in front of this. Here I've crafted the press release:
The Pittsburgh Steelers have accommodated the NFL Covid-19 rescheduling twice this year. Our week 4 game was postponed against the Tennessee Titans thus giving our team an unprecedented 4th week bye. Our Thanksgiving Thursday game against the Ravens was haphazardly rescheduled three times and finally played on an again unprecedented midweek afternoon game. This was followed by our rescheduled game against the Washington Football Team which preceded the Raven's next game. We believe these rescheduled games contributed to increased injury and fatigue for our team. Therefore , the Pittsburgh Steelers would refuse to play our game against the Cleveland Browns in week 17 under either of the following circumstances:
-The Cleveland Browns have an uncontrolled outbreak that could threaten the health of our players,
-The game is rescheduled in any way that could put our team at a disadvantage for the first round of the NFL playoffs.
Sincerely,
Art Rooney III

And y'all thought it was crazy/funny/stupid of me to suggest fielding our practice squad against this infested Browns team...

It could become a compromise if this gets bad. Amend practice squad rules for the game to get it played. Problem with "playing our practice squad" is current rules state that a spot on the regular roster must be created for a practice squad player to play. I'm pretty sure when they release TJ Watt he might find a few interested teams.
