Rudolph Home From Hospital

Yep it was launching. Reminded me of Bradshaw being knocked out cold by Larry Cole on the game winning TD in Super Bowl X

That is good news! I think best case scenario is for Rudy to sit out next week, chill thru the bye week and hopefully come back at the Monday Night game against the dolphins.

Good to hear. I'm assuming he's out for next week vs the Chargers. Since it's in LA, i doubt he'll even travel because concussions and airplanes don't mix. Then the Bye. No reason to bring him back before the Bye.

I have probably posted about 10 times today, mostly pissed off and frustrated with this team. I actually thought they played pretty well, all things considered. Not once did I say,Mason,I hope all is well. For this I apologize. That was a brutal shot to the head. We forget, that is someone's son, grandson, sibling, spouse out there. I think I can speak for the Steeler Nation......rest up,get well soon!

Well, he had a grade 4 concussion (unconscious for more than a minute) which will require in all likelihood 3-4 weeks of recovery. The patient has to be symptom free, no headaches, no dizziness, able to focus, able to tolerate sunlight, the next few days for Mason Rudolph are going to suck. He will also have to pass a physical in which he gets his heart rate up and he is symptom free, he will have to be able to balance himself and he will have to match his cognitive baseline that I'm certain every player has to create.

Pappy

Mason and his family should sue the Rooneys for a billon ******* dollars for dragging him off the field like that!!!!!!!

Every ******* team doctor, trainer, all the coaches, should be fired immediately!

The league should step in and strip the Steelers of all their draft picks next year for endangering the life of an injured player, he could have had a broken neck, broken spine, brain bleed, any number of life threatening injuries but they drag him off like a crippled dog that just got hit by a car.

This shitshow of an organization is a complete embarrassment

They deserve the curse as the new Factory of Sadness

yeah, considering the schedule...

At Chargers
bye
Miami
Indianapolis
Rams

I kinda believe that if we get on a win streak ... we're not playing that badly ... that Mason may be best to sit for more than a couple games. Depending on how he recovers from this concussion, it may even be best to IR him if we keep this non-winning **** show going.

Holton for Lynch, Switzer for Tevin Jones.

Maybe we can trade our 2nd to the Jags and get Dobbs back

Well Spike, yah hit the nail on the head. I kept on thinking, where's the cart? Some reporter should get a bunch of still shots of Mason looking totally out of it,and ask Tomlin, how could you let your player go out like this. Some players coach.

He also did not go to the locker room, he went straight to the hospital, unbelievable,

Dude they evaluated him for that stuff before they moved him calm the **** down.

Sure they evaluated him and then sent him directly to the hospital.

the cart appeared to have broken down. They showed it having to be pushed off the field by a few guys. I criticize Tomlin all the time but not for this. The head coach isn't calling the shots in these situations. He's also not in charge of cart maintenance. Now there's a guy who should be worried about his job.

Maybe they switched to a "green" cart that runs on unicorn farts and good vibes instead of evil gasoline.

Or maybe Pat Narduzzi does donuts in the parking lot with the medical cart and he forgot to plug it back in.

Win streak....this team is on a 3-8 run in it's last 11 games, and 2 of the wins are against the Bungles. Tomlin has been unable to turn the ship around even when talent was still on offense. With a team like this, it takes coaching to get decent players over the hump, and the Steelers simply don't have the coaching. They'll be lucky to get to 5-11.

Horseshit, you cant diagnose neck fractures without an xray

Total incompetance, didnt even put a C-collar on him, took off his facemask like they were ready to do CPR then drag him staggering, limping, eyes rolling back in his head, horrific.....slaughtered cows are treated better

BOOM!

Sue the ******* **** out of them!

FIRE THEM ALL

NATIONAL EXPOSURE OF INCOMPETENCE

Steelers medical cart controversy emerges after Mason Rudolph hit

A member of the NFLPA blasted the league after a medical cart appeared to malfunction moments after Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph was knocked out of Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh with a concussion.

“Embarrassing,” tweeted George Atallah, the NFLPA’s assistant executive director of external affairs. “I guess $15 billion (estimated league revenue in 2018) a year can’t buy you a working medical cart.”

The NFL is investigating the incident,

NFL claims Mason Rudolph didn’t need a cart

Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph was brutally knocked out on the field today, and adding insult to injury, the cart that came out to assist him to the locker room malfunctioned, leaving him staggering to the locker room with members of the medical staff supporting him.

The NFL says that was all fine

UFC guys are knocked unconscious all the time with no head protection, and they leave the cage under their own power or with help like Rudolph did. Once they rule out neck or spine injury, they aren't in danger or further injury. There's a back up cart there if needed.
Was anyone bitching Dupree wasn't ejected for his shot on Wilson?

Once they rule out neck or spine injury, they aren't in danger or further injury.

and the only way to clear the cspine is with an xray, can't do that by asking a semi conscious patient how they feel

No competent EMT or paramedic would even attempt to move a patient after a violent head trauma like that without cspine precautions, let alone have him stagger around for a 100 yd walk to an ambulance, drive the damn ambulance onto the field if the cart don't work!!!!

Holy ******* ****, this is going national, you better believe it.

I said the same thing to my wife. As a licensed EMT, the State would have my *** for even part of that **** show. Why not drive the Ambulance onto the field, or at a minimum backboard, collar and transport on a stretcher.

Someone is going to lose their job, and possibly their license over this. It doesn’t matter what Rudolph said about walking. He was OUT COLD, that never should have been ALLOWED TO happened. The team lawyer should have been running onto the field to stop that ****.
