If we lost that game, I'd have blamed it on the roughing the passer call against Shazier. Sorry. That was a legal play. He wrapped Carr up above the knees. That was a failed 3rd down play, and was more illegal than the (non flagged) hit on Ben in the Rams game).

It was a bullshit call....but if youre gonna call that ****, then you had BETTER call it in our favor when Ben takes his knee shots. Refs are impacting games down the stretch and its obvious that they affect the outcomes in many. We never even saw the replay of Heaths holding penalty and that ******* pick play PI call....the Fucktriots run that play 70 percent of the time and it never gets called......its complete utter bullshit

Is like the NFL to explain how that's a personal foul and the Rams hit on Ben was clean. Shazier even fell backwards.

There was a clear helmet to helmet on Luck that went uncalled today. No consistency.

It was a late call, at a critical point in the game. The outcome should be decided by the players, not the refs

I agree, it was the same thing with the Miller holding all. Would have been nice to see it

Total bullshit call and, IMO, there were several **** calls in that game. But that's par for the course with this billionaire league and its ten cent officials.

The refs did everything they could to make it a game. The RTP call probably was the worst. No difference to what sidelined Ben and there was NO FLAG. We are back to after a decent play by either team, you are looking for a flag.

Refs were horrible again today, including that bullshit call on Shazier. Meanwhile, guys are unloading on Ben, landing on him with their full weight and driving him into the turf...no call.

Plus some of the spots were about a yard off. It happened at least three times.

Steelers Penalties (Number-Yards) 5 - 42

4 of the 5 penalties were late in the 4th QTR

Of those 4 Penalties 3 were on 3rd down, 2 directly affecting possession change.

Of those three 3rd down penalties 1 extended a Raiders drive deep in Steelers territory,

2 of those penalties negated first down gains for the Steelers offense. When a first down assures a win.

ALL of the drive killing/drive sustaining 3rd down penalties were questionable calls

All this after not committing a penalty for nearly 3 QTRS and 500 yards of offense.

FU NFL

sad but true

I think certain teams are fixed over others. Agreed that there were some bullshit calls. But both teams played their hearts out. I think these two teams tend to get the low end of the stick. Which I dont care. I think a fair played regular season football game is worth watching over a fixated playoff game

In other words this game was worth watching

People, keeping the game close means ratings and big bucks. That's why these mysterious penalties pop up late in the game, like the bogus penalty when the AB 1st down catch would've likely iced the game in the 4th just before the 2 minute warning. Keeps the whole west coast tuned in and of course there are those who benefit by staying under the point spread.

I agree with my brothers here that it was a total bullshit call. That was a clean hit on the thighs. If that's a penalty I would like the league to explain where in the hell you can tackle the QB. You sure as hell can't can't go high on him. Total nonsense! But as someone mentioned, its only entertainment.

how about three flags I a row when Brown gets a first down game would have been over. The best was the offside call, watching on TV the center for Oakland did not snap ball smoothly, their left tackle and guards backs up and we get a call on us., The drive kept going. We all saw the roughing the QB, we all feel the same way,

Second game in a row defender dragged down one of our star players and landed on him with his full weight causing an injury, but we get all the calls against us

Roughing is so judgmental now all calls should be subject to review.

All qbs should wear skirts.
