He's a hard-nosed player and plays all out all the time. I hope he sticks. If we cut him, I guarantee Belicheat picks him up. He loves those types of players and they thrive in NE.

Like Mike Vrabel? Yeah Matakevich is a kid I don't want to lose and I'd rather have him over Steven Johnson, because he hasn't done anything more if even matched what Matakevich has shown.

Same here bud. I am seriously this close in doling out some cash to buy an authentic jersey of his. There is something about him that just screams Steelers football

I really liked how he called the Hill fumble in the wild card game a "gift." Shazier made that play happen, no way was that a gift. And there's not one mention of how lopsided that game should've been had the refs called Shaziers fumble return a touchdown, like they should have. Game would've been 22-0 at that point. Game over. Bunghole fans want to complain about officiating and no one seems to mention that particular play. Also, he is trashing Tomlins job as a coach, but neglects talking about having the eventual super bowl champs all but finished. Denvers defense made a play the same way the Steelers did the week before. And no, I'm not a Tomlin slappy.

Also, if Burfict doesn't slam Ben's shoulder to the ground, we win easily. Would also like to have had AB out in Denver. We might have trophy #7. Considering how short handed we were in Denver, I have few complaints about last year. Any time Ben misses 4 games, and we still make the playoffs, I'm happy.

Lets see a coach who spends his entire life on football against a fan that sees football as entertainment. Funny how all the same problems Tomlin has had throughout his entire career have not improved, clock management, poor in game coaching, a lack of ability to motivate the team against the NFL dregs and his inability to draft and develop DBs, sad that in his 10th year he still sucks at all of the above.

Tomlin teams still get playoff contention. Cheer up dude. I'm not too fond of Tomlin's coaching at times either, but considering the Steelers were close to beating the SB champs with key starters missing, got a lot to look forward to if the team stays healthy

I too am amazed at his clearing it this far. Thought for sure he'd be gone. MAYBE the coaches are really giving this competition a true test. Bet Monday is cut on a Monday, possibly last cut to 53.

If anyone has been on this site for a short amount of time, they will see that Tomlin bashing can begin in any thread, regardless of said criticism relating to the topic. Those who must go out of their way to attack Tomlin will make up any connection to the topic they need to so they can can continue their constant bashfest
