Im not sure what they are going to do with this kid. He got hurt last year but there was a lot of whispers when he was around that he wasn't getting the offense and underwhelming. Now there is almost a daily article that he doesn't look good. The first depth chart really isnt worth one ply toilet paper. But him being buried on it does varify that thought. I think he's getting cut.

Hated the pick, still do. Michigan had to put him into motion to get him open consistently, physical corners blow this guy up, and his route running, or selling really, was awful. Tack on that his short, weak *** couldn't block worth a damn is the cherry on top of inabilities.

And tack on Broderick Jones likely being a full on bust. I could see him as the swing tackle by week 4.
There has been narry a day where it sounds like offense has won much. This could get real ugly. I assume they will get the stock 9-10 wins, but you need viable offense.

Jones will be solid. He sure as **** was at Georgia.

I’ll take my Smurf smurfier

Give me the shorter, faster, tougher CA3 8 days a week

Wilson is on the Senquez Golsen career path

That and Michigan stole the defensive signals. That probably wouldn't have padded Wilsons stats? Nah never.

We have 20+ million in cap space today and no credible WR2, plus if an injury were to happen to Metcalf the passing game and offense as a whole is totally screwed.

We rightfully criticize Tomlin, but give Khan a pass a lot- this is on him to have the WR room like this two years in a row- It’s roster malpractice

Williamson on Scouts Eye stated today he feels Roman Wilson is having a good camp.

I feel like every day there's an article titled one way or the other on everything, the offense is struggling, the defense is struggling, Rodgers is lighting it up, there's concerns over Rodgers performance, blah blah blah... It's training camp, these reports mean very little. This is what training camp is all about, it's working out the kinks, working thru different issues, as JJ Watt said in his IG post, we don't know the parameters of each drill, we're just getting an outsider's view on something they are assuming to be the case. I have yet to see an "insider" be dead on with much of anything...

Im just really of the opinion that nothing happens on this roster without Tomlins up or down decision. Kahn may work the phones. Kahn might make the numbers work but I do not think one player is foisted upon Tomlin and if he is saying inquire about the Commanders unhappy receiver........Kahn is on it.

Our starting left tackle is on the roster..
Might have to change his number though?

TJ won’t change this number, that rule of a player can wear any number he wants and it isn’t position compliant anymore.
TJ will be best LT option bec. Ause he knows all the nuances of holding………………….

Salute the nation

Jones has been out for a few days on those reports you are reading. He is just getting back up to speed along with Issac. I think everyone is overreacting at this point. We haven’t seen any of them take a truly live snap against another team yet. I think he will be fine but there will still be growing pains. Having Issac back will help him a lot.

Roman also hasn’t had much opportunity to show anything yet, nor has anyone else.

Let’s talk more Sunday after the game Saturday.

You might be right, it’s no accident we have the highest paid defense 2 years in a row-that is almost certainly a Tomlin big picture decision

I keep hearing this garbage everywhere, and it’s just that, garbage. The #2WR will be a TE this year, possibly even #3WR.

I have stated it many times that I would use 1 RB, 1 WR, 3 TE as the base offense. With the 2 best blocking TE’s on each end of the line you are in a mini jumbo package for rushing. Combine that with those same TE’s being competent receivers and you then are also in a 5 wide setup too. Rotate an extra lineman in place of the TE to give them a breather, sub to give DK a break. The only thing predictable is that you can do anything from that base.

That sounds like how things should be working, all parties working together. Now we can argue about how much control Tomlin has, and I think he has as much control as the owners are comfortable with. The quickest way for things to go to he!! Is for the GM to not include the HC in decision input. That would mean that the GM signs a player, spends money, and the HC doesn’t want him and doesn’t use them. The Mike Williams situation looked like that to me. Looked like Kahn signed him, because of fan and media pressure, to fill a spot that Tomlin didn’t consider a need.

What’s garbage is how little production the Tights Ends had under Smith last year when we were told they’d get great usage.

The thing about Tight Ends is seam routes over the middle are a pretty important part of their route tree and we know how Tomlin feels about throwing there

The offense was hot garbage last year, looks the same in camp so far, so it’s tough to argue 1 established WR is enough. What happens if Metcalf gets hurt?

I’ve read a few articles that said the same. I’ll wait till I actually see the kid play a few downs before I judge him.

Just hoping to see the kid play a few downs

Hopefully he can get on and stay on the field

Hard to use TEs when the middle of the field is lava

Funny thing is that the defense is getting all chest puffy thinking they are cooking with gas when they are tasked with playing against such a basic beatch offense everyday…they’re getting a real false sense of security with how “great” they are…their reality check may bounce when they’re up against an NFL offense.

This shyte could easily implode
