and have that game played at a neutral site, london, mexico, canada, spain... whatever

My idea is to make the final 2 weeks of the regular season TBD, where teams still in playoff contention play each other to determine home field, conference championship, wild card or elimination. The teams out of contention would play each other for who cares, just like they already do.
It would be a way of extending the playoffs and ratings without adding more games or teams.
I know there are a few problems with this, the biggest being some teams could lose a home game while others gain one. Another being fairness of pairings if the seedlings remained largely or entirely unchanged after the first week of TBD games.
