From DK's site.
Ben Roethlisberger (knee) and Ross Ventrone (hamstring) did not practice Thursday. Roethlisberger jogged by the media toward the end of practice, as Ramon Foster confirmed. Vick said it was good to see Roethlisberger throwing a ball too, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Roethlisberger isn’t expected back for a few more weeks.

Sit your *** down Ben and get well!!!!!!

Skip that...If you can jog Ben then suit the F'K up and get back out there.....the sooner the better is the way I see it!!!!!!!

Hell if he can move around with a fair degree of comfort by next week's game, put him back in

Put a huge knee brace on him and push him out there. Three steps back and get rid of the ball.

Then again, Shanahan ruined RG3's career by sending him back out too soon. Although I don't think they even put a brace on the kid's knee?

Tomlin tried to ruin Ben too, I think it was against san francisco......... anyone remeber that fiasco???

Shanahan is a douche bag

WOW, cute and intellegent........rare combination !!!......lol.......... GIRL, you are absolutely right. shanasham is a tool, especialy towards the end of his coaching days. He was a **** head in denver, but a real B-I-G bucket of **** in washington "native americans who care". RG3's injury didn't help him any, but he had other deficiencies as well. Currently, rg3 is his own worst enemy.

You simply don't rush players back. When the DR clears him, then it is a green light go.

That said heal quickly Ben !

RG3 wasn't worth saving.

RG3 beat Ben's records for QBR and completion percentage for a rookie.
that's like white people bringing up Rocky Marciano when talking about heavyweight boxing.

Remember though, Rothlesberger was ONLY a game manager, winning QBRs didn't mean nothin back then........lol

I do not think QBR even existed in 2004.

As for Roethlisberger, whether he comes back prematurely or not, he's likely going to to suck for the first game or two. That is just the history of him coming back off injuries.

Yup. Knowing Ben, he'll probably come back erlier than anyone thought. Also knowing Ben, he'll be a little sub par for a few games....

But not the most important stat, WINS. Ben's 13 to RG's 9 is all I care about.

Check that, Ben's completion percentage was higher too (just not as many yards thrown or TD tosses). Ben finished the year with 66.4% to RG's 65.6%.

Ya'll need to remember, in the past when Ben had his "bad games" after an injury, he was playing behind a porous offensive line that could not block anyone and had the magician BA calling long developing plays with 7 step drops. That played into his poor performances.

Now, he has a much better Oline, an OC that has him getting rid of the ball quickly, and he is an older, wiser Big Ben.

While I want him to take it slow and heal, I CANNOT wait for him to return.

rg3 or NOT, Ben's rookie year is one for the ages. It will be a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time before he is beaten in wins as a rookie. Not dising on any poster's. Ben's passing set up the run so beautifuly. Remeber the talking heads, could never get that part of the game. GAME manager, reality was he set up the run with precision passing. Didn't need a lot of passes. Got the lead and Cowher 110-1-1 record kicked in. Protect the lead, hand off.

Ben Roethlisberger wants to play Sun vs. former OC Bruce Arians. Steelers have not ruled out possibility, but it's considered a “longshot."

We all knew Ben would want to be back for this game.. make it happen Ben!

IF he can move ok, sure. But if he is still gimpy, forget it. The season is much bigger than the Arizona game.
