Roethlisberger Breaks Down Broncos Game on Radio Show

Look at that: I already taught you something. Isn't learning fun? It's better than being in a comatose state, just staring off into space, isn't it?

And if we can get you off the SSRI drugs, you will advance even faster.

It took me just a second to realize you were a ****-waffling troll, that offered nothing to the board.

Just a boring persona, that thinks he is highly intelligent. But fails at every football discussion presented.

The fan, 93.7, the station he does his show on is railing him big time this morning. Saying Ben never takes responsibility for bad plays. He usually takes more of he blame than needed.
I was listening at 7, went to break at 9 and they were still getting on him. It was getting pretty pathetic.
The funny thing is I was listening to the game on the radio, and Tunch said it as soon as that pick happened, that Pouncey blew his guy off the ball so well he pushed him right into the path of the ball.

Ben's show is great, he doesn't give the usual politically correct answers, but after the fans little gossip girl session this morning, wouldn't be surprised if Ben tells them to **** off next season.

It's a good topic for them to bash Ben and generate callers. Pretty much a joke if they seriously believe he never takes responsibility. The guy has been the best player on the field, the team lost and he took the blame on many occasions.

Spoken for truth.

They all took shots at him, this seemed almost personal to an extent. The morning show, then the pm guy, maybe he already told them to F off for next year and they're pissed.

You know before lady come along your fan base was next to nothing. You couldn't find a cheatriot fan.

Most Pats***** fans were not aware that New England had a football team until 2001.

I am concerned that Ben is ok with/expects some interceptions when he passes a lot, and blames AB for a bad route on that retarded EZ int. He is a very talented meathead. Run the ******* ball a little bit please. He will not get any smarter.

He commented on how he is harder on himself for his own errors, but being a captain he has earned the right to push their buttons when needed.

He had times he wasn't too smart earlier out of the gates, but I think he has smartened up pretty damn well over the course of his career.

At times...? The QB play across the board then was almost universally poor.

I get what you are saying but as bad as some people Remeber Kordell at being, HIS "slash" role was totally amazing. He even had some good QB years too. His combining the loss' of AFCCGs contributed to the disapproval of the fans. I'm not promoting Kordell but just showing there was a little light considering Kent Graham wore size 18 cement shoes. The rest of the league didn't have any MAJOR barn burners either.

He was not used properly.

The guy was one hell of an athlete but not a full time NFL QB. They should have brought him in for the "wildcat" plays where he excelled at being slash and use him as primarily a receiver. He wanted to be a QB though and somehow/someway they let him be a full time QB for a few years.

I was a Kordell fan initially but it became obvious that his running and athleticism couldn't overcome his limitations as a QB. The thing that amazes me is that when we moved on from him another team actually gave him a contract. And I think that the reason that I'm bitter is that the rest of the team was loaded - it just needed some competent QB play to have won at least one more Superbowl.

And it wasn't just Kordell through those years.

I'd have to give Neil Donnell the nod for OUR best QB through that time lapse of QBing greats. Argue all you want on the two SB picks but Neil was pretty solid. Had he not left for the money I'd say we near or complete another SB run / win.

Davenport. I don't think he's a meathead. I think he was undisciplined early in his career and under Arians. Remember he had no qb coach. Then they hired fichtner. I could be wrong but I think I remember correctly. To me I see a guy who gets lax because he is so comfortable , and it translates to mistakes sometimes. He also leans Antonio's way sooo often. He falls into that trap.

Ben says what is needed to be said that Tomlin either can't or won't. And he'll say my bad if he's to blame.

That 1996 team was a waste with Tomzac at QB. Makes me sick just thinking about it. Wasn't that the year of the fog playoff game in foxborough where we **** the bed?

Ben didn't blame AB for the he EZ pick, he just said if the DT wasn't there and AB ran a flat route that's an easy 6 is basically what he said. Tunch said when the play happened, that Pouncey blocked his guy so well he pushed if right into the path of the ball.

Part of the reason that Korky failed is because of our coaches inability to use his skills more creatively. There should have been 8-12 DESIGNED runs a game to make the D soft so his lack of timing and sketchy accuracy would be less evident. Honestly, there was no reason he could have not have avearaged 50yds rushing a game. But we ran an offense that was playing to his weaknesses. I would scream at my TV because there were times we were throwing more with Korky then we were Neil, which was just stupid. Either we needed to keep him at WR or run a different offense.

If I recall, Kordell didn't want to be a wr, he wanted to be a QB, but no matter how well you can run as a QB you have to be able to read a defense and progress past your first read.

We weren't going to WIN a SB with NOD. He had inferior DNA and would always crumble on the biggest stage. We would still win a lot if he came back, but never a ring.

His accuracy was garbage and he had no idea how to lead a target to hit them in stride, and - contrary to his famous college TD bomb legacy - he could hit a target deep to save his life.

Not only did he not want to be a WR, but when he became a QB he voiced opposition to him running the ball. I believe he said "it hurts."

If you want to place blame, it's on Cowher for not having the balls to use KS right and kowtowing to giving him a huge new deal 2 years before his contract was up. After Rooney signed that signing bonus, he wasn't going to admit it was stupid and lose millions. He lasted as the Bear's QB for about 10 minutes, and after that, he was a Raven and they were signing guys off the street before allowing KS to play QB. Everyone knew he sucked but the Steelers.
