By Justin McGonigle www.SteelerNation.com Steven Nelson*and Ben Roethlisberger, both with knee injuries, did not practice today. Nelson is listed as doubtful and is expected to miss the game, while Roethlisberger is questionable and expected to play. Roethlisberger had no mention of a knee injury when he spoke to the media on Friday morning. Popping up […]

Ben listed as questionable -- unconcerned. Drama Queen now and forever -- he soaks it up to "play through injury".

Nelson, haven't seen much news on his injury and holding him out could be good idea -- Alex Smith is not a "threat" in passing game. But would like to know more about the extent of his injury.

So 100% serious though... this would be the best game for Ben to skip... losing it is irrelevant if we win out, and Buffalo means 2x as much.. and pouncey won’t be available against what is the second best pass rush and pass d in the league...

If that were true wouldn't he be listed as questionable every week? Players have no say on what they're listed as on the injury report

Not sure why you would say Smith is not a threat? In his second full game he threw for 390 yrds. Not counting his first partial game his completion % has been 75, 69, 68, 73. He was not really needed much is the last 2 games, but I certainly wouldnt sleep on him. They also have a WR who is only 40 yrds from 1k and 5th in the league in receiving. Smith can make mistakes, but he will be one of the better QBs we have faced.

Didn't the Steelers get fined 2 years ago when they didn't put Ben on the injury report. and after the game he said he had an injury during the week. Sounds like there covering there *** this time.

This is why I am not feeling comfortable about this game

Same Alex Smith that used to play for KC? Yeah, he could get hot. But the reality is he is more of a "game manager" than Ben has ever been. Not knocking him or his ability to help a team get a win. But, if the going gets tough for them, they shouldn't count on him to be the one to "make something happen".

He was a first overall bust that got beat out by Colin Kaepernick... thats how much he sucked... he made the 49rs believe cap was a good qb lol

Riverboat Ron will be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at us...believe it.

This Forum says this EVERY game...We don't live in out fears

Same Alex Smith that everyone says is a shoe-in for comeback player of the year. Sorry, but I'll take Ben in that category playing for a winning team who also had a potential career ending injury.

Chris Boswell is now doubtful to play Monday against Washington with a hip injury. Expect the Steelers to activate Matthew Wright off their practice squad.
