Rodney Harrison just called Ben a liar

Yeah the slant was definitely a poor choice. The Pats had 4 guys along the goaline with a LB underneath. It was very well defended and should have been tossed away. Let the Boz get us to OT.

Eli was open, then the DB grabbed Eli and turned him, clearly a PI, if the DB doesn't grab and pull Eli who knows what happens, but yeah it's easier to just blame Ben.

Even if it was what happened. It doesnt matter. Ben needs to stop talking about stuff that happens and decisions that are made. He should just say after the play was tackled there was some confusion. There is no point in pointing fingers pr assigning blame.

There is a point when he throws a stupid shallow cross to Bey who is tackled inbounds to keep the clock running, then he throws the pick in the end zone when he should have thrown it through the uprights so we could have gone into overtime.

When Ben names names it's because it's CYA time.

It was doomed from the very start. The **** had doubled up on Rogers pre-snap. Not only that, but Ben had eyed Rogers down from the snap, and the **** could tell that nobody else was doing jack ****, so it was easy for them to read the play, and follow it out. This was reminiscent of the game vs the Broncos in the regular season two years ago. On a third down, Ben forced a throw to Deangelo Williams that was snuffed out from the onset and it was picked off. All year long, the Ben to Rogers connection has been bad news. I dunno what it is, but it seems like 90% of the time that Ben goes to Rogers, it's either an incompletion, or an interception, or a Rogers drop. Those two don't have the same chemistry this year. Anyways, for the record, I want Ben to shove it up those ******* *** as much as anyone. It's the one thing I'm sure WE all want. It totally fucjing bites that the game ended like that on his throw in what was an otherwise great game from him.

That was the because Ben immediately starts yelling clock it, so everyone thinks its a spike call, then the call from the sideline to run a play, but there was little time to communicate the play so most everyone thought it was a spike call.
They had 4mins after the James play to come up with a few plays, but I don't think they even discussed what should happen if it's over turned.

I don't disagree; everyone (coaches, players, all offensive players) should've been huddled up deciding what our next play or plays were gonna be. Nobody did, and it was a rushed together two plays as a result. That said, just because a play was called doesn't mean Ben automatically has to go to the one guy it's designed for. Which the way Ben eyed Rogers immediately has to make one believe that that's where Ben decided pre-snap. Yes, it's bs that there was no flag for a hold, but you're also not giving yourself much of a chance by going to that spot. Ben played it like it was a play borne out of desperation, but the fact is that we held the cards at that point.
