Rodgers will play zero minutes in the preseason

2nd and 9
3rd and 6
4th and 7
repeat until the 3rd quarter.
 
I'm not shocked by this news, but a little surprised. One would think having him go out for a series would be helpful considering it's a new team and system. Rodgers taking his first game snaps for the new team the first official game of the year is questionable. Have him knock off some of the rust in the preseason not the first game.

The key as always will be the OL, period. Can they keep him clean and provide him enough time to make his reads? Idk, we shall see but that’s the key on whether he’s successful or he’s not.
The OL must do their part and there has to be a legit running game or this thing goes off the rails quickly.
No offense means much more pressure on an aged defense which will burn out by end of November just like in seasons past.

It just dawned on me. I guess Rodgers belongs in Pittsburgh after all.
I wonder which neighborhood he lives in.

Seriously, I really don’t know or care. Hopefully he can stay injury free and help this putrid offense out. They need all the help they can get.
I saw today that their OL is ranked 21st this year. I believe it was PFF that had that ranking. Not good!

Most of us are here because we love the team and football. Fact.

Personally, I buy and play Madden to enjoy the game between the games and the season - what is Berm saying or getting at??? Simple. Most of you will be SHOCKED when you see the full arsenal of plays that have changed and have been added to the offensive playbook.

It's been a fact that the offensive schemes were putrid and elementary for quite a few years now--- this new playbook has finally caught up with the rest of the innovators in the NFL. Seriously.

Time will tell and we shall see but methinks this is the year and I'm not backing down at this point!!!

Git 'er done!!! 7 here we come!!!

This signals to me that Tomlick has seen enough to conclude that he'd be embarrassed by the results.

The only reason I don't laugh is because Rodgers is very intelligent along the lines of prob 1400-1500 on his SAT IIR and he'll be the real OC if Tomlin lets him and his wheels and protection hold up. Conversely, you hope the season and legendary career don't end 62-7 Dan Marino style!
