Rodgers is a little b!tch,

How can anyone not be sick of seeing him constantly ***** at and about his teammates after every single play? If Ben ever did that every sport show in the nation would be blasting him. That's not leadership! Get lost cheese head.
Meh....he is gone now.....let's all move on to our next chapter of SteelerNation. I won't even dog Tomlin from here and out(don't hold me to that). He is the past. Let's all move forward.....as a fan base and an organization!!!!🙂

Anyone dumping on Rodgers for his time in Pittsburgh can get it out of their system. He was only here for one season and I didn't think he did anything to destroy team chemistry. I had big reservations that would happen as he marched to his own drummer with other teams by missing OTAs, whining about roster makeup, draft choices etc. On the field I thought he did the best any QB could with the lack of receivers and craphole offensive scheme he was handed. Not to mention a substandard LT for much of the season. The one drawback was he's 42 years old and couldn't run for his life like some younger QBs could.

Like I said - if it makes you feel better dump on him. I just happen to think most of it is unwarranted.
The reason he was here was because he gave Tomlin his best chance at not having a losing season, we never had a chance at being a contender with Rodgers and that wasn't on just on Rodgers, but there was nothing good coming from bringing him in here. Ben was 38 or 39, and people were bitching that he was holding the franchise back from finding the next QB because we'd be just good enough to not have a high draft pick, well what exactly happened by bringing in a 42 year old Rodgers?
Rodgers had a good season for a 42 year old QB no doubt, but to see him screaming a players constantly, and ***** about everyone was pathetic IMO. Especially a guy that missed alot of open guys himself, scrambled into sacks and was no where near perfect. I didn't see Allen bitching about his guys when he's getting blind sided. or Purdy when he was under pressure every single pass. Rodgers isn't a good leader, and he is a little b!tch, if you don't want to get hit, f'ing retire.

We've wanted players out of position or making mistakes to be held to a certain standard for years. This is where defensive leaders Heyward and Watt just didn't get it done. Every year, particularly Heyward, talked about miscommunication or guys being out of position/not doing their job. It never got fixed from the coaching staff and the defensive leadership didn't set the expectation. Players change, but the leadership the Steelers had on defense in the 2000s until they all retired was all-world. You finally get a guy on offense that can be harsh, but helps hold his teammates to a certain standards that we haven't seen from Fichtner/Canada/Smith and then you complain about it. It shouldn't take a 40+ year old QB on his first year with the team to care more about winning than most of the roster.

Maybe the head coach? I don't disagree with that, but not after every single play on national TV, the guy is bitching and moaning, then bitching on the side line, Ben couldn't say a guy was supposed to cross the face of the DB instead of running behind him without being called a horrible leader and throwing teammates under the bus, but Rodgers can throw a 3 yr old temper tantrum every other play and that's leadership?

I don't think you can get caught up in a group of people who hated Roethlisberger no matter what he did and will never credit him for being a great QB and tie it to Rodgers' style of leadership. Brady yelled at his teammates too and is recognized as the greatest QB of all time. I just think this was the first time in years that I saw glimpses of an NFL offense and the old QB was a major reason why.

I'm not necessarily talking people here, but alot of the same media people killed Ben for that, but praise Rodgers. The whole thing that started the AB crap was supposedly Ben telling him to re run a play in practice because he wasn't running the route correctly, and AB flipped **** and threw the ball at Ben's feet, and that's where the "it's Ben's fault" crap started. I don't care if it's Ben, Brady, Manning, Rodgers, IMO it's a bad look seeing the leader of your team come unglued every other play. Showing your teammates up in game rarely works out.

aaaa-Ron retires & him and tomlin start their podcast.

tomlin works out of his baby-mama’s basement in Florida, while joey Porter Sr. Moves in with the ex-wife.

All is well in PittsbURGH life after the tomlin.

Salute the nation

I didn’t say anything about if he will play this season, etc. Statistically it wasn’t a bad season. Again you do you, we don’t have to worry about your credibility as long as I don’t sink to that level I am good.

😊
Rodgers did not have a good season. If "statistically" good was good enough, you wouldn't have had your thong bunched up for years over Coach Tomlin never having a losing season.

And again, where you pack substance, you resort to the ad hominem. As an example, if I state you have poop for brains, while true, it's irrelevant to the debate.

Rodgers is hot garbage. Trying to say he had a "good season" or "statistically good" is gatnage.

He will not be signed on Day 1 of 2026, which says everything you need to know about him.

Which is why when they traded away GP I lost all hope for the season. DK simply isn't a WR1, and doesn't have half the ability that GP does.
Yep. I would have kept Pickens for the season and let him walk afterwards and receive what would hopefully have a 3rd round comp pick. That was 2 years in a row our WR room was empty besides one player.

Go **** yourself anything you say is irrelevant to a debate twatwaffle.

Rodgers did not have a good season. Statistically or any other way you want to qualify the nonsense

He was great ten years ago, good five years ago, and, much like Ben, played too long. He should have retired at least two years ago.

He will not be signed by anyone. That's how bad he looked. Now, with all that being said, I support your right to stick to your guns under an assumed name on the www.

Enjoy

You can repeat it until you turn blue it doesn’t make your nonsense magically turn true.

Very curious why the boards greatest maroons always seem to be Florida based.

Run along troll your act is old.

To his defense, the offense was trash, the same crap we've basically been running for 5 years. The whole scheme and wide receivers are a joke.

It was the most predictable thing on the planet.

I'm pretty sure the goal is .500 ball. They have that nailed down. They call that competitive! For what? It certainly isn't championships. The team has been in no danger of becoming elite in well over a decade.

I won't be shocked if they ask Rodgers to come back. It fits the goal. He may retire. He certainly doesn't need the money.

Where there is smoke, there is fire....as Coach Tomlin once said. Someone always loved the drama...
