Kuntz explained that fights eventually broke out as the practice became increasingly physical. Roberts did not appear surprised or concerned by the response. He was smiling because the environment finally felt familiar again.

I believe that is the year they wanted to get tougher against the run on defense, so naturally they let their best run defender at LB walk.

A defensive lineman who ran like a LB with the hands of a WR. I saw him in person at the Friday night lights and his calves were as big as my thighs and I don't skip leg day. He was a freak.
