Just saw him listed in the In Memoriam section on the home page of Pro Football Reference and didn't see it posted anywhere that he passed away 10/25 at the age of 81.....was a Steelers CB from 1961-67 and made the Pro Bowl in 1966 as well as having two of the longest punt returns in team history, 90 and 82 yarders, that somehow neither went for a TD. Also became very successful in the restaurant business after retirement and wrote a book about it in the early 70's inc. how Art Rooney gave him financial backing to help him get it off the ground. He wore the Black and Gold a little before my and most of our time but I took notice cause I actually bought his game worn 1966-67 Batman style jersey from the team last year. Just wanted to recognize him on here...

My bad. I thought it was a thread about Tom Brady losing his keys or something. I couldn't click on it quick enough.

RIP Mr. Keys

Ol school Steeler... best wishes go out to his friends and family............

Condolences to the family and pray he is in a WAY better place.

Salute the nation

Keys co-owned All Pro Fried Chicken on the Hill with Willie Stargell. This is the place Bob Prince made famous with his "chicken on the Hill" call when Stargell hit a home run.
