Right now, I beleive the Steelers are one of the four best teams in the NFL

SB 50 coming up. Steelers one of the all-time great franchises and bring great TV ratings. Rog owes us a few favors. Could be our year. So to speak.

I'm still not counting Seattle and KC out. Both have beaten us this season, and if we want to win a SB, we mayl have to go through them again.

Forget the 8-5 record for a moment.

The Steelers are 4-1 in the last five games and in each of these game the Steelers scored 30 points or more. The loss was to Seattle on the road. No team outside of Carolina has been this good in the past five games.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but Seattle is 4-1 over the last 5 games, steamrolling teams, beating the Steelers themselves, and only losing to the Cardinals. The Seahawks have been plenty good the past five games.

And that's playing without Marshawn Lynch.
Steelers v. Sehawks rematch, Steelers win with some favorable calls, citizens of Seattle commit collective suicide.

I would LOVE a rematch with the hags on a neutral field.

The pats have no run game per se and all their receivers have recent injury issues. The Broncos don't have a solid QB... even if the Manning returns..... The Bengals probably have no QB for the rest of the season... The Colts are a joke, and KC isn't the kind of team that wins 10+ games in a row. Really who is out there to fear? Carolina? They wont make it out of the NFC....

Its Ben or bust .....no other way to slice this. If he plays like he did vs Colts and Cleveland, theres not a team that will beat us. He play very well even vs Seattle except for those untimely INTs.

Defensively our Achilles is covering a TE. Apparently we don't know what one is.......yet. If we somehow fix that issue we can think about #7. But we get to these playoffs and have no more major injuries (Burfict tried to impose one on Ben), we will make a run. I want every part of a rematch with New England in that run.

Gjven the number of catches an "old, slow" Heath Miller has we are apparently not the only team that has some TE problems.

Don't know about the order of top 4-5 teams right now, but Carolina and Seattle are the top 2. NE, Pitt, Arz, are up there.

Dalton going down made NE's march to SB50 a little more easy. They will be playing at home and don't lose much there in the post-season. KC could give them some fits if they get that far, but the Steelers are the only other team that could de-throne them. DEN has a great D, but can they score? We'll see.
CAR is the best of the NFC with SEA and AZ as their only roadblocks.

with that being said, we need to get in or all this talk is moot. Would be a shame to be sitting on our couches in 4 weeks.

We seem to always play at KC, so why not an AFC champ game there featuring the coveted #5 vs #6 matchup. Here we go STEELERS!!!

If Denver cant put at least 20 on the board against us tomorrow...there is not way that they can put up enough points against the Pats, Chiefs, or even the Bengals to advance through the AFC playoffs.

Seattle isn't the same team on the road or in a neutral setting. Part of the reason the Steelers lost was due to some bad play calling and coaching.

I'll gladly take a rematch.

Take away the horrible FG kickers to start the year, and the time Ben loss due to injury. We are a 2 game loss team.

Of course I'd take a rematch as well, but the fact remains that Seattle is playing some dominating football right now. They're 6-1 in their last 7, including a 4-0 road record during that span. I guess you're trying to defend your original statement that no one besides Carolina is playing better than the Steelers, but it just isn't true. Luckily, Pittsburgh won't have to face either of those two teams until the big game.

Our main problem is a head coach that doesn't put the team's best players on the field. I envision Boykin on the sidelines in favor of someone with less talent but more experience our system, and him trotting out Jacoby Jones to return kicks in the playoffs for his playoff experience. I have a gut feeling that he'll go with his gut, and that it'll gut our chances of making it to SB50.

No! No they are not!

I am aligned with that thinking coach...

This Sunday will really tell the tale of the 2015 Pittsburgh Steelers.

Another game with 30 points scored. With Blake out ( I hope ) the D will be a little better. If they bench Jones who does next to nothing, we might improve a bit more.

We should be talking about benching Bud Dupree who has hit the rookie wall and was dreadful yesterday.

Absolutely dreadful. Speed rush around the stadium smh. He is 270 pounds you mean to tell me he can't mix in a power move. Nope just speed rush around the stadium

He's a rookie Al, not a 3rd-year veteran!

Only time Bud's name was mentioned was on his two penalties, the second of which could've really hurt the Steelers, handing Denver a first down on a play that should have resulted in a 7-yard loss.

His one-on-one's with Schofield last night were infuriating. He apparently didn't watch enough film from the week before to see how Khalil Mack completely embarrassed him. Now, Mack is a special talent and I'm not implying that Dupree should have had the same amount of success, but even having a more consistent pass rush would have been nice compared to what was offered. The drive in which Osweiler ran it in, he was particularly bad and was not staying disciplined with his rush lanes.

Agreed....he has not been good as of late..

I think our man Bud, has hit the proverbial "rookie wall"...

Steelers are hot right now. I think this team can do it
