Ricardo Mathews listed as No. 1 backup DE on both sides for Steelers

I wouldn't be shocked to see Mathews get the majority of snaps game 1. If not all with Heyward still injured.

I have my doubts that Heyward will be ready to go. Mathews did a great job against fellow backups, dominating at times, but let's see what he can do in a greater role. As long as he isn't a complete liability a la Cam Thomas as Heyward recovers, they should be alright.

Part of me would rather see them sit Heyward unless 100% recovered.

I'm sure Ben knows we'll need 30 pts a game

I have no issues with that. Instead, they'll bring him back too soon, he'll reaggrevated it and be out 6-8 weeks.
