RGIII Visits Stains

Please sign RG3 Our DB's are excited,

Good old One Read, perfect - for us. That team NEVER learns.

You know the guy is on his last leg........or should I say knee. He is trying to resurrect his career. We don't know what he has been through and how healthy he is. We do know he has challenges as he is doing what option he thinks is best for him. I don't begrudge or hold against him any of his decisions. His new coach may get the best playing of RG's career to date. WHO knows. Realizing it is the browns and there is a surmountable "image" to overcome, we will have to wait for out come just the same. I wish good luck to him as it seems he will need it. If he makes the browns a better competition for us, even better. We are only as good as who we play........ in most cases.

Salute the nation

four guys are going to run around Joe Thomas and kill him.

The only positive for RG3 is he didn't play last year so he should be 100%. Bad news is his all world center left town and Joe Thomas is trade bait. Good luck staying upright behind that line in that toilet bowl...

the only way this makes sense is of the browns don't think Wentz or Goff are the real deal, or maybe they think they can get Hackenberg or Cook in Rd 2.

Even if that's the case, it's a bad move with RG3. Say they do draft a QB in Rd 1 or 2. You just gave yourself a QB controversy. Start the rookie and fans will want RG3. Start RG3 and they will be calling for the rookie.

I love this move because it likely means they are not planning on taking a QB early. I think Wentz will be good and Hack has been through enough beatings behind the patchwork PSU OL. He doesn't deserve any more.

Like I always say, running QB's can work in college ball. Running QB's in the NFL get broke in half because everyone on the defense is usually bigger and at least as fast.

You all know how this will play out. Healthy, RG3 will revert to his rookie form. The Browns will look like a real NFL team, and Cleveland will be going crazy. Then he will be planted by a Rat, and he will never be the same again. Browns finish 5-11. Fans will blame Art Modell. Only in Cleveland.

Generally speaking, you are correct, but there are some exceptions in Russell WIlson, Randle Cunningham, Steve Young, Cam Newton.

RGIII is insignificant.

The real question is how the Browns **** up this draft and don't get Carson Wentz when they hold the #2 pick and the team ahead of them just drafted a franchise QB last season.

I keep thinking it's impossible, but then I remember it's the Browns......

Apparently Cam Newton doesn't exist down in crazy Right Winger town.

But Wilson and Young won because they made plays primarily from the pocket and running was their last option. Cunningham became a much better player when he stopped running as much.

Newton still doesn't read defenses like he should and struggles with accuracy. He does have good passing stats but most of his passing success is because defenses are so worried about his running that WRs are single covered. When Cam faces a defense that can stop the run game and force him to make plays from the pocket, he struggles.

2 years $15M?

Robert Griffin III signed a 2 year, $15,000,000 contract with the Cleveland Browns, including a $3,500,000 signing bonus, $6,750,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $7,500,000.

Good thing they cut half their O-line - he can run run run now!

Well, must be some good coffee inside the break room at the Clev-town Headqrts.

Skip the coffee break jokes, I'm still shocked he actually signed on the dotted line to be their QB.

Like I said when Johnny Football was there in Clev-town, our Defense will be chasing RGIII around the field like he's Capt. Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of Caribbeans movies.

I think RGIII gets a bad wrap. Coaching ruined him. Putting him out there with a bum knee was a terrible call. I would not trust the coaches or organization after that either. He could of handled the situation a little better, but the media constantly baited him looking for that golden sound bite. I think Cleveland can at least be competitive.
As for Camp Newton he had no receivers last year. This year will show a lot about him. He will have his top receiver back and it will be interesting to see how he handles the SB loss.

7.5 million year and millions guaranteed for an undersized injury prone back-up?

Sound like something the Cleveland Browns football organization would do! lol

Two coaches wanted nothing to do with him after his rookie year. Doesn't that tell you all you need to know?

Carson Wentz should undeclare for the draft, sit out a year and re-enter the draft next year, it will be safer for him and extend his career.
