I'd take him over Mitchell.
If we don't change our scheme it doesn't matter who we bring in. Revis will be the guy playing soft coverage. ..that's all.
I think Revis would be a third CB in Pitt. His tackling really fell off last year. Not sure safety would be a good fit.
Puff puff pass if you think he's taking anything less then 4/5 mil a year.
We can stretch the signing bonus from 2-3M if you like, after our $1M vet minimum salary - he still gets $6M from us and the Jets
He was in the ProBowl in 2015, we can squeeze a starting spot for him from our bums somewhere in the secondary
Safety though? What's his run support like? I don't think it's what we need from our safeties
I take back what I said on page 1 about Revis grading out as one of the worst corners in the league last year. I read on ESPN today that he actually graded out as THE WORST Corner.....in the entire NFL last year. That along with the probable convictions he is about to get hit with spell a great big pass for me. Don't see the upside. We are first class reactionaries here when a game goes badly. Remember how optimistic we all were about Burns and Davis before the Patriots game? Let me refresh you, everyone was flying pretty high on how great their potential is. Now all of a sudden they suck because Tom Brady embarrassed them for 60 minutes. **** happens! It doesn't mean you throw the baby out with the bath water. Get a grip people.

not sure who is saying Burns or Davis sucks.
I think the majority want Gay **** upgraded.
Wouldn't that be super?

Lol. **** Burns is never a good thing. The Steelers can make it great though. I mean all jokes aside **** wasn't his best in 2016. **** was hard in 2015 and showed promise. Burns is young, potential and showed some very great promise as the season wore on. I do think maybe Revis can play FS. Who knows, maybe be a bit similar to Ed Reed. I thought long and hard about this(no **** jokes either xD) if the price is right bring Revis in
