So jets are releasing him and with his recent arrest I'm not sure he gets too many teams knocking on his door. Now I read the statements and saw the post altercation video and I'm sure the charges get dropped unless some new evidence comes to light. Otherwise the cops only have him being at the scene while the victims even state it wasn't Revis. And I'm not saying sign him as a CB. I think transitioning to safety would prolong Revis' career by 3-5 years just like Charles and Rod Woodson.

So would you consider signing him and for how much?

I'd take him but I think they talked to him once before and he wanted too much money. Maybe now his price is down.
They might as well sign FA DB's because Lord knows they can't draft them for ****.

He wasn't very good last season, and if you move him to safety, who does he replace?

He can't even comit burglary without getting caught, how's he gonna try to steal a football from someone...he's done

Even in his prime he wouldn't have been a good fit for our scheme. Trying him at safety is intriguing, but he may command too much. Probably have to take a pass

For cheap? Sure, why not, beggars can't be choosers. Our secondary is very weak.

I don't think he sucks I think he just regressed a little. No more should he put on their best WR game in and game out. I think he could handle the number two spot just fine. HE is a guy you bring him in for a looksee and if he comes on the cheap. As realistically he should, you bring him in.

On a team so close but missing pass rush and secondary pieces, perhaps saying quick no's won't help upgrade areas that need just that.

Quality characters! Let the cokeboys or raiders have him.

I believe I read somewhere that he graded out as one of the worst corners in the league last year. I think he's done physically.

That makes him better than everyone we have now.

Absolutely - a one-legged Revis would be 10,000X better than the schmoes we have now...can't cover, can't tackle...horrible

I honestly had no idea he was still in the league. I'm not sure what kind of teammate he is, but if he's cheap enough and willing to help the young guys along, why not?

He is local and knows his way around the South Side, so bring him in. He's already there!

What would be wrong with having a Steeler who ***** slapped some nosey kids?
