Reports: NFL will propose formal developmental league in 2017

I know they can't support a 32 team minor league system yet, but it might be cool, starting out, to have 6 teams, with each team feeding one of the 6 divisions. Then teams in the division would have to compete to sign the talent from the minors up to the majors. Could get cut throat. I like it!

Do you mean 8 teams, as there are 8 NFL divisions? I think you might be on to something...
 
get the cfl to merge with if a new league forms and force them to play by traditional nfl/ncaa rules and field dimensions.
