Report: Steelers Trading For WR Ryan Switzer

As long as he can bump Fitz off kick returns and hopefully off the team and keep AB away from punt returning, it is a good move.

That's a bit pricey, but if it means the end of Fitz, I'll take it. And being here in the DFW area, I've got a lot of bandwagon cowgirl fan friends who loved him when he was here. Might turn out to be a good trade, but it seems like we gave a lot.

Read carefully, we swapped picks. A 5th rounder for a 6th rounder, and we got a player in return. That is excellent value.

It's being reported that the Raiders also gave up a 6th rounder, so basically we swapped a 5th for a 6th for Switzer.
 
Why an the hell did the Cowboys trade him in the first place. they need Receivers like crazy

Switzer, a 4th round pick in the 2017 draft, was dealt from Dallas to Oakland in late April. He will fill a need as a slot receiver and return man for the Steelers, two areas the team has a need at.

Last year as a Cowboy, he averaged 25 yards per kick return and 8.8 on punts. One punt return went for a touchdown. He also caught six passes and carried the ball four times.
