Report – Steelers Show Early Interest in Harris

I gotta tell you if you honestly believe this Tomlin coached team is a Super Bowl contender next year, please PM me. I have some magic beans to sell you.

I LOVE BEANS!

Beans..beans...the musical fruit...the more I eat.....

They need to be aggressive on D, like in 2019, playing the best safety in the NFL 20 yards off the LOS is taking away alot of his play making ability. We keep hearing about how we want our offense to be able to adjust and scheme, well the same goes for the D.
If it's a run heavy team, then get the hell out of the 2 DL sets. If they are throwing short quick passes, get your damn safeties up in the box to try to eliminate. Stop matching your slow *** ILB up on wr's. And that all falls on Tomlin.

Easy there, Nancy...

The defense was still ranked #3 league-wide. The loss of Bush (basically all season), Spillane for multiple weeks, Dupree (last quarter of the season) and Vince to COVID for a couple games - that hurt and they were all, well, untimely...I think Sean Davis may push Terrell and our SS spot could be better than this year. We'll see...

Do they have MDMA in them? Please include candy, water, music and a light show..Thanks...haha

All kidding aside,I am pretty much entrenched in the idea that it doesn't matter what players we get. The outcome will stay the same.

I really want to be wrong.

They still have more talent than most 5 first rounders, 3 all-pro's, 3 others that have been pro bowl players, not counting Dupree and Bush. I'm more pissed about the this *** scheme they ran. Spillane playing the 4th most snaps in the playoff game??? After IR and not being able to stay in great shape. Minkah playing 20 yards off the LOS vs a running team that's just throwing quick passes.

I'd love to be wrong. I just am not.

Point taken. I think we played bad holistically from the WFT game forward. Oh well, season is over - let's get a drink!!!

They are absolutely still superbowl contenders. Run game,OL and an offensive coordinator who isn't a moron. They are right on the edge. I firmly believe that. It's all on the coaches at this point. Now if Ben retires or they go another direction, all bets are off until they find that next guy to build around.

What exactly did you see from Tomlin, or from Roethlisberger over the past two months of the season that screams Super Bowl contender? The final four teams had top-10 offensive lines and 4 of the 5 best QBs in the NFL. The Steelers OL is decent in pass protection but dreadful in run blocking and Roethlisberger wasn't a top 20 QB over the last 6-7 games.
