Finney was solid at center or guard, and the Steelers should have never let him walk in the first place. Glad to have him back.

We are mighty thin at OL right now. He was very serviceable when he was here and should come cheap after getting cut , so it would certainly make sense, especially since they are so cash strapped.

If we don't pick a RB in round 1 or, at worst, round 2, then we should not draft one. We have done that before. If we don't go for a RB in round 1, we actually should trade up to get one in round 2. We can't wait until round 3. We need a starter this year.

So as far as guards go :

We have 1 Decastro, 2. Dotson 3. Finney 4. Hassenaur And lets not forget the signing last month or two of #5 Aviante Collins from Minnesota. And he is a very different type of player than #3 & 4. Has the ability to play tackle or guard and runs a 4.81 40 time. Versatile.

Then # 6 We have Feiler who is a FA. Feiler has the ability to play Tackle , and we know how Tomlin likes his versatility.

I agree, there was no appreciable drop when he was in for Pouncey that I recall.
