Here's an item that will interest Steeler fans:

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the career of Bengals' Vontaze Burfict could be in jeopardy because of concussions. He has already sustained seven in his career, including one last Sunday vs. the Browns - his second this month:

Normally this type of news would tend to sadden NFL fans. But just guessing that it won't be received that way here...

Karma is a *****

I'd piss on him on his way out.

**** burf defect.

I don't like to see anyone injured and hope he doesn't have any long term issues from this. We all know Burfict should have been kicked out of the league a long time ago and hopefully this is the end and he can go out there and enjoy his retirement.

This dude deserves what is coming to him. He knowingly tried to injure players on multiple occasions. He will be in concussion protocol for the rest of his life.

This ****** will end up killing someone and end up in prison or dead himself. He had mental issues way before he had concussions.

whoop dee doo and dickory dock.

Shame, I hate what Burfict has become but he was quite the impact player in his early years. His coaches allowed that headhunter mentality to exist so his aberrant behavior isn't really all his fault.
Unfortunately he'll likely be yet another CTE casualty parked in a wheelchair in a corner at a long term facility drooling and ******** and pissing himself one day.

I can't say that this makes me "happy" - Burfict is/was the nastiest player I've ever seen play the game and like it's been discussed he should have been given a pink slip years ago...

Wishing him ill-will later in life is not classy. I pray that someone is there to take care of him...

It's better for the whole league that he never plays again.

His style of play is reckless, and he uses his helmet as a weapon. Don't feel bad for him one bit, and he deserves every day of pain he gets for playing like a doucher.
