Tomlin now seems to dictate the benign defensive and win by attrition offensive strategies trying to turn every week into a race to win 16-15 in the 4th quarter so admittedly it's hard not to have a jaundiced eye with his thumbprints literally on all phases now. It's not like this guy has shown much ability to be nimble or evolve.
I'll go out on a limb, but it's likely that regardless of QB, the first time this season the Steelers are in a tight game and have the opportunity to use timeouts to get the ball back and get points before the half, Tomlin will keep the timeout in his pocket and let the the clock run because that's just what he does.
After 18 years, familiarity breeds contempt. Show some capacity for intropection, self-analyis, evolution and growth. Don't just run the same stale operating principles out there again for the umpteenth time.
