Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

So what explains his performance last year, not in Tomlin's offense?

I think there is a happy medium in there somewhere. Red Nose isn’t going to be as good os some think but on the flip side….. He won’t be as bad os some say.

The titans weren’t a very good overall team, not defending the Rudy.

I think we can roll with him as a starter when it comes down to it.

A-Ron will sign and play, but Father Time and possible injury will demand we access the “Rudy” ability.

I would rather assess the rookie's ability

I hear yaz Coolie, but the Tomlin may not. He is to set in his ways to open up to a rookie.

I’m very happy with the Howard draft, I hope like hella he gets his snaps in and they are good enough for coaches to take notice. I also hope he wouldn’t be to “hand-cuffed” either.

I think we got a great QB prospect that has his **** together. A hard worker with the right mixture of attitude to command an offense.

Don’t let his draft position lower any expectations, we did get him in the right spot.

No qb can " flourish " under Tomlin. He won't allow it.

There are worse things than having Howard pick the brain and learn from one of the five best quarterbacks to ever do it.

Is he going on over and hanging out on the FootBalliN with BEN set.?

I'm OK with whatever record comes with Rudolph as QB1 this year - I'm counting on that plus our draft strategy next year (brilliantly set up by this year's!) letting us nab the next franchise QB who leads us out of the wilderness to multiple SB victories. :giggle:

PS: Another refugee from planetsteelers (though it's been ages since I posted, called SanAntonioSteelerFan there), started back in the Trib days as well. So Hi, y'all!

Under one month to OTAs...

And we still have no true QB1.

Great. Back to my cave...

Cave dweller !

I think the facility has opened up for player work outs.

Welcome aboard rook.

Since I got six days on you I feel it's okay to haze the new guy.

but at least we don't have sanders
It's going to be wild to see how CLE handles their QB room this offseason.

How many reps are their rookies going to even get?

Sanders is the 4th or 5th QB (Watson, Flacco, Pickett, Gabriel, Sanders).

Do they just cut one of Flacco or Pickett before the preseason? Even then, it's hard enough to get reps for QB3. QB4 usually doesn't do anything.

There will be at least 2 guys cut or moved to PS there. Maybe someone can pick Sanders off their PS if they try to put him there.

He is number one all time in passer rating, fifth in passing touchdowns and seventh in passing yards. But fine whatever. Top 10 all time then. My point still stands.
What leads you to believe that Rodgers would be a mentor?

Watson is getting zero for starters, they admitted their mistake and are moving on without him

If the a-aron lowered his intelligence persona and stooped low enough, the rookie could garner some good stuff. My hopes is rogers would be that helping QB hand needed to help them develope, current coaching staff is questionable at best.

Watson is injured and not expected to play so he is out. I can't picture the Browns leaving Pickett as their most experienced QB so I doubt Flacco will be cut. Gabriel was a 3rd rounder so i would think they would give him at least a year. The Browns don't have much invested in Pickett so if he looks bad he could be out. If Sanders has a poor toxic attitude he could also be the odd man out. If I was the Browns I would set up a mini competition with physical and mental tasks. Show some film or draw some diagrams and ask what they see along with a throwing competition. Worst man is automatically out
