What did Tomlin get out of putting Renner in game? What a waste of fourth period. Renner never threw the ball down field. How did Tomlin judge any player once Renner came into the game, we ran up the middle, over and over. We know what we have in Teroiet, why not put the players that are on the bubble in game situations to see where they stack up. Totally made no sense, bring a QB in and see what he could hand the ball off. You sure did not see NO stop trying to move the ball.

I understand not wanting to get an injury but I think you are correct in why not bring in the Renner's, Ayers, Blakeneys, Grimble, Brown-Dukes of the team who have a shot making the PS and lets see what they got.

Dude barely even knows the playbook. Maybe, just maybe....Tomlin wanted to see other players that might have a chance to make the team...but, whatever.

So the OL the TE and RBs won't be evaluated for their run blocking

Answer: because it was the 4th quarter of a meaningless preseason game.

15 minutes of watching bubble players vs. other scrubs was not going to shed any more light on these bubble players than what cool shades has already seen in camp/practices. One goal for the final 15 minutes was to not get injuries.

This criticism is almost as meaningful as preseason games are.

Congrats on finding another way to try to criticize cool shades.
