Does anybody think that renegade is overused at Heinz Field? I've been to a bunch of games, and I know for a fact they don't play it at every game, and they shouldn't. It should be reserved for a close game when we need a big defensive stop. Playing it in the opener vs Cincy was cool, but we played it against the Chiefs the other night. It was pointless. We were wrecking them. To me, it loses its luster if its played every game.
 
Renegade hardly ever works for a turnover anymore. They had to play it on Sunday considering Styx was there. But they play it at almost every game. It's disappointing when they don't.
 
Sometimes they play it twice! Those games are the best!!!!

I didn't think about the Styx angle for the other night. But you really think it needs to be played when we are up 3+ scores? Would mean SO much more if played less.

We hardly ever blow anyone out. Lol. I enjoy seeing it every home game.

We definitely do like to keep it close that's for sure
 
I can't remember the last game they didn't play it. Maybe a bad loss at home? It's played basically every week.

I agree it should only be reserved for big moments, but if you spend $1000 to travel to Pittsburgh for a game, I think you deserve that experience. When thinking of it that way, it's kinda cool they do it each week.
 
Isn't it always played between the end of Q3 and beginning of Q4? I thought I read that somewhere...

You can not play it too much. Same thing with the song by Steam it means we are killing them and the zebras. HEY HEY GOOD BYE

Had a debate on the first time Renegade was used. I said it was the 2002 AFCC against pats*. Friends says against cleveland in the playoffs. I was at both and they played it at both, but he doesn't believe me. Looking for an expert to break it to him.
 
Well, they didn't play it today and they should have. When Ben fumbled in the 4th we should've. I don't want it every game, but today was close enough for it.

Oh **** what the **** am I thinking. I was there too. Jesus Christ. I guess what I meant to come here and say was they played it at the wrong ******* time. I'm an idiot.
 
I was gonna say, me and Mrs. Burgundy were at the game and they played it with around 2:00 left. Not that I really care.

There's a documentary out there on it, interviewing the guy who did it. It will tell you when it was. I'll try to find it.
