Reality Check- just putting it out there

Because a 2 DL front causes confusion.

Admittedly it causes confusion for the defense, but still... Any confusion is GOOD confusion, ya?

Tomlin is going to continue to use the 2DL scheme because he was an up and coming defensive guru, and that is his thing. He is so dead set on creating a name for himself with his 2DL formation. He just believes he is smarter than Dick Lebeau and that **** he used to run. You can not win with that mindset. His best years were early when he had players picked by better evaluators and while he was still being told to sit back and don’t rock the boat. Now that he has COMPLETE control, this is the **** you get.

I heard the same **** back in 2007 and the NY Giants did, in the big game, so **** that, it can be done.

Here's how I do it: Follow the 2007 NY Giant blueprint.

1). Pressure Brady (especially up the middle).
2). Press the WR at the line of scrimmages, and cover the short routes. They love pick / crossing patterns (see last night).
3). Put a deep safety to stop the deep throws.

It really is that simple. It can be done. We just don't have a coach with a brain to implement the plan. We could do it if our players would just execute the same ****** plan.

You gave the blueprint, not like it's anything that's hard to get a hold of or anything, but there it is.

While I agree with your analogy on how to beat them, you obviously have to have the players to do it. We obviously don’t.
And of course it would help if our O scored more than 3.

Tomlin blames execution so all these specialty coaches are not doing their jobs. Just watching the different coaches involved on sidelines for the Pats you see the difference of our team and theirs, sad.
