We tied the damn Browns to open the season last year, we had AB, and all the other players that then took us to a pretty good run before it all fell apart at the end of the season, and remember, when we were hanging on to playoff hopes cheering for the damn Browns to win the game so we could sneak into the playoffs, AB had played that whole season with the exception of the one game he was sat down for. Why am I putting this out there? Because the media is going to focus on our loss to the Pats last night as us not being as good without AB, remember, WITH ab we tied the damn Browns to start last season, and that was the Browns without Mayfield, so it is what it is. This game sucked, and Moncrief better learn to catch a ******* ball between now and next week, but all things considered, I'll hold off till at least week 10 before I decide where this team is truly headed with all the new moving pieces.

If we couldn’t do it with Brown, this offense is not going to be good enough to even come close to a playoff spot. I hate Brown but we need another playmaker on offense. I’ll argue Connor is not the answer at RB either, he’s just too upright when he runs and lacks a burst. Juju is it at WR. Vance can’t be depended upon.

I would rather talk Stallworth out of retirement than see Moncrief play another down in a Steelers uniform. Jesus, he makes Weegie Thompson look like Jerry Rice in terms of catching ability.

They didn't throw to vance last night till 4th qtr. Nothing catchable anyway.. He gets a pass.

Steelers start every season ******** the bed, at least it seems that way. This is an indictment on Tomlin, not having his team ready as usual.. They didn't hardly play in preseason. No joint practices either. They all looked bad. But **** moncreief better get it together. Defensively. The two DL set is just dumb. A rookie and a 2nd year guy at safeties. It was the short passing game and the runs that killed us.

But listen, when youre down 20-0 on the 1 yrd line in the 3rd quarter. You gotta go for that. For that Tomlin was definitely an idiot. IDK what changes were made or weren't, but it didn't look like we adjusted for ****.

t-man, like with the "D" Moncfief needs to hit that JUGGS machine religously and regularly. A assistant catching coach need be present as well, **** the unprepared / uncoached approach. I'm in that boat "GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO DEVELOPE THE SLOW STARTING TOMLIN TEAM THAT THEY ARE" boat.

I don’t think it would help. His routes were lazy, he did not seem to be playing with any confidence or energy. It wasn’t just his lack of hands. He looked like ****. I am not one to normally dump on players or the team either. I am one of those annoying glass half full guys but not with what I saw out of him last night.

Tomlin says it's all execution, but our problem is scheme.

1). ******* 2 DL
2). Empty backset. WHY TELEGRAPH that a pass is coming? WHY???!!!???
3). No pressure on the QB.
4). Can't cover the short crossing patterns.
5). Miscommunication. I know Davis was out and Kelly in, but how are we still dealing with miscommunication? Year after year.

**** it, I could go all day.

speaking of first rd rookie WRs, we coulda got this guy at #25

'Hollywood' Brown Shines in Ravens Debut With Two First-Quarter Touchdowns

His first career reception was a 47-yard touchdown on a slant where he slipped one tackle and then outsprinted the rest of the defense to the end zone.

His second career reception was an 83-yard touchdown on a skinny post out of the slot where he got behind Miami's secondary and showed off his speed once more on his way to the crib.

You still don't get it do you? Keep telling yourself that Joe.
Forget about New England for a second,
Every team in the AFC North has better offensive weapons than Pittsburgh, and its not close
Our defense is still ****,
Tomlin still sucks
Pouncey is a china doll on an overrated O-line
Big Ben can only work so much magic??
No way to spin that
You are delusional if you think this team is doing anything except missing the playoffs again

If you really believe all that why are you bothering to watch any of the games. Just go fishing.

No team especially this Steelers team is beating the Pats in the playoffs maybe not even in the regular season. They’ll be winning the SB again this year.

Same here, and it was a performance deserving of an immediate pink slip.

Because he's just a troll. He may have been a semi-rational kind of person at one point re: the Steelers, but them days are gone.

I'd rather they stumble out of the gate than run out of gas in the home stretch. Last year they did both. Let's hope there's not a repeat of that.

I heard the same **** back in 2007 and the NY Giants did, in the big game, so **** that, it can be done.

Here's how I do it: Follow the 2007 NY Giant blueprint.

1). Pressure Brady (especially up the middle).
2). Press the WR at the line of scrimmages, and cover the short routes. They love pick / crossing patterns (see last night).
3). Put a deep safety to stop the deep throws.

It really is that simple. It can be done. We just don't have a coach with a brain to implement the plan. We could do it if our players would just execute the same ****** plan.

This is literally the only blue print to beat Brady every time. If you can't do those things you don't win. If you do them you have a chance. Why anyone would deviate from that is beyond stupid.
