Raven's walker in critical condition

Just saw an NFL.com report that the kid has died from his injuries. Truly sad to see....only 23 years old. He was just a kid!
So sad. RIP

Ravens CB Tray Walker has passed away.
Walker suffered fatal head injuries in a dirt bike accident Thursday. It's a devastating loss for the Ravens, who drafted Walker in the fourth round last year. Walker active for eight games as a rookie, recording two tackles.

Prayers to his family.

RIP and my condolences to the family

Dirt bikes on city streets is a hood thing. It's absolutely huge in Baltimore city. The dirt bikers will literally shut down the roads, with 100s of bikes and spectators taking over. Police don't do Jake about it. There are a ton of video's on YouTube celebrating this "sport". Anyways, prayers for this young man and his family. Sad.

First: RIP, prayers for his family.
Second: How does one do JAKE about something?

most of those bikes are stolen. bike thefts have become a huge issue in the racing community in recent years. every week i see a minimum of 1 bike stolen around atlanta, baltimore or philly

Maybe if you had included the video they wouldn't have had to take your word at face value, and accused you of spinning a "demographic Profile"

RIP

Damn shame.

I certainly could have been there several times at his age, but was fortunate enough to limp away.

Sad, way to young to die. Attended the same high school as Sean Spence and was team mates with Teddy Bridgewater and Amari Cooper.

My condolences to this young mans family.

What a very sad and senseless tragedy. Probably, and I'm not trying to be an a^^hole here, not wearing a helmet. Very sad. Prayers for his family and friends at this very difficult time.

Dude, I live 20 min outside pittsburgh in a predominantly white area and we did it as kids. Race or money doesn't mean ****.

Just sounds like someone ran a stop sign or red light

One heading south, one heading west

No helmet.

Motorcycles, like tackle football, are inherently dangerous. We should all be grateful for the bullet we dodged with Ben just a few short years ago.

Why do they think this is a good thing?

I just don't get it. Is life that ****** to treat it like this?

people can start by cleaning up their own areas

stop painting gang crap on walls
stop littering
instead of running the streets go to the librarys
get online and read / learn
if you can afford expensive cars, bikes, clothes, etc.

you can do what I listed..... but you have to care, be taught values....

and I am not talking about any color race, just people in general

and for those who like to pack together

study groups

the ability to change is there

the problem is the lack of want to

As young adults, we make some bad decisions - maybe not everyone - but a lot of us do...

My story.

During my teen years, in Bermuda, we did "similar" activities on Friday and Saturday nights - PACK RACING. Imagine up to 500 hundred mopeds and small engine motorcycles and scooters on the tight streets of Bermuda. Like the kid said in the video, it was a form of release for us - a way to show creativity; but, overall, not the best way to express one's self. It's the law to wear a helmet while riding a cycle but that hasn't stopped the road fatalities...

Like I said in my original post - prayers and comfort should be the only things on our minds both now and then for Tray's family and friends.

Rise above the ignorance and learn compassion - that's my creed.

if only that was everyone's creed

Thoughts and prayers to this young man's family and the Ravens organization.

This was a young man, a football player, and an American, lost tragically. We should all feel a sense of remorse, regardless his decisions. Many a person has died due to bad decision making. That doesn't mean they weren't worthy of a full life.
